The Beetle Invasion

I was sitting at the counter with my strawberry, kiwi smoothie that Ernie had made me, I was watching Ernie play a game with a ball and broom, I giggled silently, it reminded me of Harry Potter. He explains that he is playing broomball and that it is like hockey only with a broom and a ball. Zack, Billy, Tommy and Jason was there as well, I don't know where Kimi or Trini are. He's starting a tournament and asks if they want to play, they are unsure if they want to play or not. Two kids from another school comes in and asks Ernie if he has a team to play them, they seem to be very confident that they will win. They could not resist the challenge and decided to play. They soon start to practice to make sure that they are ready, they looked like they were doing good. Trini was sitting next to me; she was filming their practice. I notice a ball going out of bounds and a guy went to go and get it, he then walked over to Trini, I noticed that Trini liked him. Kimi told us that his name was Richie and that he was nice. Trini offers a spot on the team, but they have enough, he ends up becoming the assistant couch, to which he says yes to. Bulk and Skull then come into the Center, they had their latest plan, and a new invention that will smell people, weird. I end up getting Tommy and Kimi to go to the park, he had first invited me to go, but I told him I had something to do and told him that Kimi would go with him in my steed.

Trini, Billy, Jason, Zack and I put their poster up, next to theirs.

"The creatures gone" Billy said,

"He's right, that has Lord Zedd all over it" I said. We were then contacted by Zordon who informed us that Kimi and Tommy were in trouble. The Stag Beetle was sucking out Tommy's powers. We morph and head to the park, me blaming myself for putting them there. When we got there, we fought the Putties, they all retreated. I raced over to Tommy as he almost fell, before I could even open my mouth,

"It's not your fault Ava, you had no idea that Kimi and I would be attacked" he said,

"I agree with Tommy, there was no way you could have known that this was going to happen" she said,

"Still I'm going to make it up to you both" I told them,

"I know one way you could do that" Kimi said.

"Anything" I replied,

"Your famous smoothie" she said with a smirk, Tommy nodded to that,

"Alright, two smoothies it is" I told them, they smiled at each other and high fived, I swear their five year olds in a teens body. We teleported to the Command Center, me teleporting Tommy with me, for once I did not fall on my face. Though I believe that is because I was holding on to someone and he stopped me from falling face forward. Alpha did a scan on Tommy, he was okay, but he did not have his powers anymore. Billy comes up with an idea to get the powers back from the Stag Beetle. To which he appears back in Angel Grove. They went to battle, I decided to stay with Tommy and watch from the viewing globe.

"Now you can see it from my point of view Tommy, this is were I mostly am during battles" I joked with him, he laughed with me. They seemed to have a hard time with him, he was using Tommy's powers against them. There soon was several putties that came to help him, Tommy looked at me to see if I would join them. "They got this Tommy; I know they do. And if they need my help, they know where to call" he nodded at my answer. I grabbed his hand as I could tell that he was frustrated that he could not be there with them, he squeezed my hand. The others went to another location to fight him. I turned around and helped Alpha work on his device. He looked at me with the puppy eyes when we finished the device, I sighed and nodded he grinned and hugged me, teleporting us to the location where the others were at, he wanted to do it since I teleported us the first time. He uses the device and gets his powers back, we morph and attack the bug, he survives and catches Zedd's Growth Bomb. He grows and we called upon our zords, it's so weird calling upon mine when the others do. I don't mind it, just not used to it, we need mine for the Thunder Megazord to work. It did not take us long to defeat him.

We were at the Center, they were playing against Stone Canyon, it was a close game. The game was tied when Tommy scored the winning goal. We all cheer as they did, they said that it was because they had good coaches. The Stone Canyon players walked out of the Center sadly, they were so confident that they would win, that they got themselves before they even played. Their coach made them shake hands with Jason, he tells them that they may win next year. Erine tells us that he would give us free drinks,

"I just made a new smoothie invention, if you all want to try it" I offered to them, they are my smoothie guinea pigs, they all love it. Their eyes lit up, and Ernie's too, he loved them just as much as my friends did. Richie seemed confused,

"You'll love her smoothies, they're the best" Trini told him, and he nodded with an eager look on his face. I made the smoothies and Richie passed them out, once everyone had one, but him,

"Your forgetting someone Richie" I told him, he turned to me confused,

"Who?" he asked, I laughed a little,

"You" I said and handed him his, he smiled and thanked me. Tommy tells us that he has no idea how he could help us if his ranger powers are going. "I have a feeling that, that is going to change sooner or later"

"What do you mean Ava?" Billy asked me,

"Once a ranger, always a ranger, I have a feeling that he will be a ranger again" I said, and it was true, I had a feeling that he will be a ranger again. He smiled at me,

"Thanks Ava" he said, and I smiled at him.
