Days later

Peter

Wrapping my arms around the male as he slept peacefully, bathing in the fact that it was finally the weekend as the windows on the right provided light which was why the male had buried his face into my chest since he faced it. Yawning as I played with his hair as he was a deep sleeper in the morning, hearing a soft knock on the door before the door creaked open before Mia wandered over as she hugged her stuffed lion as she had tears down her face as I sat up immediately making Luke groan as I picked Mia up and sat her into my lap.

"What's wrong?" I spoke worried as I wiped her tears as this made Luke sit up immediately as he tried to wake up so he could help.

"Night mare..." she sniffled as she curled into my bare chest as myself and Luke wore our usual bedtime clothes.

"Oh Bub..." I sighed as I rubbed her back as she settled back down, "do you want me to make you some breakfast?..."

"Yeah..." she nodded as she let go of me before climbing down and leaving, turning to Luke with a huge smile as he smiled sleepily back at me.

"She came to us!" I beamed as I pulled him into a hug as he laughed softly.

"Go mark breakfast!" He laughed as he got out, pulling a shirt on before leaving as Mia sat on the kitchen floor with the cat as the feline sat there not bothered with her presence as she'd learnt to not grab her and to let her come to her.

"You excited to go skiing today?" I smiled and she nodded, starting breakfast after moving her to the couch instead so I wouldn't accidentally drop or trip on her.

"God I can't remember the last time I went..." Luke hummed as he walked out, wrapping his arms around me from behind as he leaned into my ear, "I had a dream about you..."

"You'll have to tell me about it later..." I grinned as he pecked my lips before walking away.

Serving breakfast as I noticed that the female was no where to be seen as I made sure the three were served up before heading to her room as I knocked on it but I got no answer, "Ava?"

"Go away..." she called out with a sniffle and I sighed before opening the door.

"What's wrong Ava..." I sighed as she laid curled under her blanket.

"Can you just fuck off!" She seethed as she sat up, sighing before walking away and I wanted nothing more than to push it but it would only leaded to a fight and that's the last thing I learnt and I suppose I'd learnt it when dealing with Luke since it's was rare a abused kid would willingly back down from a fight.

"What's wrong?" Luke asked worried as I sat down.

"I don't know..." I sighed.

"It's probably because some kids said how she must be like our parents and called her the bad word..." Finn spoke up as he ate his bacon and it turned to Luke even more worried.

"How about we schedule skiing for another day" I spoke up making Mia whine.

"But you promised!" She whined.

"You did promise..." Luke sighed.

"But I don't wanna leave her here alone..." I spoke worried.
