Last night Ariana and Ashley told their parents that they were going for a six months camping trip, their parents agreed to it.
The next morning they packed few clothes, lots of snacks and water, they each carried their backpacks, waved their parents good bye before going to the bus top where they all agreed to meet each other.
" Okay girls, are you sure you are ready to be this?, i mean if you ain't willing to join me, you can go home I've got no problem with it" Ariana said
" Come on girl, we are in this together" Akeelah said
" Me too" Chelsea said
" As for me, am out of here" Ashy said turning around to go back
" Get back here" Chelsea grabbed Ashy's collar and pulled her back
" As long as am going, you're going too" Chelsea said which made Ashy roll her eyes.
They got on a bus that goes straight to the end of town, they alighted from the bus and went in search of the house.
" Oh these place is giving me a creepy vibes" Chelsea said gripping her hands tightly around her body.
"Yeah, i mean why would anyone want to live here" Akeelah said
" This is creepy, um A.J do you still have that book?" Ashy asked
" Yeah i do" A.J replied, she looked at the picture one more time before pointing to a bungalow, and believe me it looked like it would collapse any minute.
"Is this guy crazy!!! Does he wanna kill us or what? How the heck did he expect us to go into a house that's not freaking stable" Ashley screamed
"Calm down Ashy, maybe that's not the house A.J pointed to right?" Chelsea asked turning to A.J
"Actually Chelsea, that's the house" A.J said scratching her head.
"The hell!! No you are joking right? Please tell me it's a joke, we ain't going in there right?" Chelsea askrd with a pleading look.
"Relax girl, if it were suppose to collapse it would have done that a couple of months or so" Akeelah said feeling so brave. Even A.J was a little bit scared
"Okay then, let's do this" Chelsea said huffing and puffing around a circle.
"Am with you Bestie, although not all with you" Ashy said
"Okay then, let's get going" A.J said.
They walked towards the house, A.J opened the door gently, they were expecting to hear creaky sounds but unfortunately it didn't make noise at all, it sounded like a house that was newly built.
"Huh! That's strange" A.J said
They walked in gently scared it wouldn't fall but it didn't make no sound at all.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!" They screamed as some straps of cobwebs cling to their faces.
"What the hell!! No one told me there would be cobwebs" Ashy half yelled
"Well, we should have expected that already, cause duh it's an abandoned house" Chelsea said
They cleared their path while they walked through 'gaps'
"What is it Chelsea?" Akeelah asked when she heard Chelsea gasped
"Aren't those hairpins for Alice and Ella?" Chelsea asked pointing towards a brown and grey hairpin
"Yeah, we all got those type of hairpin last year" Ashy said
"Does that mean they were here too?" Akeelah asked
"Seems so, but how?" A.J asked
"But did you guys noticed that after we told them we won't be friends no more, they stopped coming to class" Chelsea said
"Yeah, i did notice, but i thought maybe it's because we don't come across each other" Akeelah said scratching her head
"And if that's the case, do you think they went in there?" Ashy asked
"Oh come on Ashy, they couldn't possibly go there, i mean they weren't around when we got the book" A.J said even though she was thinking that maybe what Ashy said was right.
"Hey girls, look over there" Chelsea pointed towards a door that was emitting light from the inside "it's that the door we are suppose to open?" She asked
"I think so... Well let's open it" A.J said while walking towards the door, she opened the door gently and in a blink of an eye they appeared in a desert with no living soul around.
"What in the fucking dark!!" They chorused
"What is these place?" Akeelah asked
"And where is the house?" Chelsea asked
"I think we are in the mythical universe" A.J said although she wasn't quite sure.
"What the heck is this place A.J, Damn it, i think we are lost.... I should have stayed back home...." Ashy said panicking
"Chill Ashy, at least we are still alive" A.J said in a calm tone
"You always say we should be chill, great but I would calm down only after you tell me where the heck we are" Ashy said sounding annoyed
"You saying all these won't solve anything, we just have to figure out where we are" A.J said still in a calm tone
"What if we can't get home?, maybe we would never see mom and dad again, this is bad so bad, and the damn house isn't here no more" Ashy said half screaming
"Relax Ashy, we would find a way" A.J said trying to console her
"What are we gonna tell mom and dad?.. That we got into an abandoned house because something happened to your left eye, and here we are stucked in an unknown world, mom and dad would be so worried" Ashy said
"Oh stop it Ashy, they ain't even our real parents, why would they fucking care if we were lost or not" A.J finally let the cat out of the bag.
"What did you just say?" Ashy asked confused
"Don't you find it odd that we have different colours of hair and eyes, don't you?, well anyway i found the documents in dad's drawer and o found out we were adopted, and you wanna know where?.. Joys orphanage" A.J said
"What?" Ashy said looking confused
"Exactly where dad and mom always do charity on our birthdays" A.J said
"You knew about these, but you never told me anything" Ashy said feeling heartbroken, meanwhile Akeelah and Chelsea just stood watching the twins having a family fight
"Well i didn't want you to feel heartbroken" A.J said looking down
"And how do you think i feel now? Happy?, huh, how can you calk yourself my sister and hide things from me, and now we are trapped in a desert nowhere to go, all because you want to find out about a stupid boy" Ashy half yelled
"Well, i never forced you to follow me, you followed me willingly, and now you are ranting over something unreasonable" A.J said
"Oh so you call this unreasonable huh, you know what am sick and tired of you trying to act like the eldest, you act as if you know everything, but let me tell you, you don't, you are just a normal girl like everyone of us and because of your stupid mistake we got stuck here" Ashy yelled
"Well i didn't force you to be my sister, neither did i wanted to be the eldest, you act foolish and childish and always get us into trouble, you wanna know something, I regret being your sister, i wish you where never born, i wish i was never related to you, you are just nothing but a scallywag, a nonchalant girl, a foolish idiot, a nincompoop, and you wanna know one more thing I regretted the day I ever knew you" A.J screamed at her before turning around, but immediately she turned, she went poof. She disappeared into thing air.
