Uzi sat on the railing of her balcony, holding a daisy. She spun it around with the tips of her fingers and started to pick the petals one by one.

No, she was not playing he loves me, he loves me not. She watched as the petals slowly drifted to the ground.

"I don't think you should be sitting on the railing," a male voice said from behind her. "You could fall."

Uzi smiled and glanced over her shoulder. "And? I do this all the time and I haven't fallen once."

N's arms wrapped around her waist and he lightly placed his head on the back of Uzi's. "Because I care about you too much."

She smiled and continued picking the petals. "I met you a night ago," she snickered.

"Then we'll take baby steps. I got time," he said, nuzzling into Uzi's hair.

"All the time in the world?" Uzi teased.

"Mm-hmm," N mumbled.

"How did you get here?" Uzi asked. "Or, better question, why are you here?"

She felt N shrug. "I wanted to see you. And you only live across the street."

"But you'll be killed if you're seen," she protested.

"Excuse me, I avoided death by tripping today, thank you very much. I think I'm good," N said, feeling very proud of himself.

Uzi rolled her eyes playfully and patted the free space next to her on the railing. N shook his head, content with where he was.

"What's with our families' feud anyway?" Uzi asked as she threw the daisy's stem in the air.

N shrugged. "J once said something about your folks using us or something? I don't really remember, I was barely listening."

She giggled. "Idiot," she placed her hand atop of N's and entwined their fingers. "My idiot."

N hummed and gripped onto Uzi's hand. "I like the sound of that," he mumbled as he nuzzled into Uzi's neck. He placed a soft kiss there before untangling his arms from Uzi's waist and took a seat next to her on the railing. "You weren't shooting at me today, were you?"

Uzi's eyes hollowed. "N, why the hell would you think that?" she exclaimed.

"I didn't!" N raised his hands in protest. "Just- difficult to think otherwise when all you hear around your home is-" he raised his hand up and made it resemble a mouth. "I bet those Doorman's have something to do with this!" N tried his best to lower his voice to do an impression.

Uzi giggled at him and looked over at the moon, hanging high in the sky. "At least you don't have to get married to someone who finds your father more interesting than you."

N hummed. "Dance guy..." he muttered, more to himself rather than Uzi.

Uzi snickered. "'Dance guy'?"

"That one guy you danced with last night?" N asked, she nodded, surprised he remembered that. "Dance guy!"

Uzi rolled her eyes playfully. "His name's Thad. I know absolutely nothing about him. He knows nothing about me other than that I'm Khan Doorman's daughter. That's it."

"Uh- Uzi?" N asked.

"What?" Uzi asked.

"We met like that..." N said quietly.

Uzi flushed. "Shut it!" she pushed his arm. "Plus, no one but us knows that I'm no longer a true Doorman."

N raised an eyebrow, making Uzi sigh and gesture to him. "No Doorman would even imagine doing anything with an Elliot. Let alone fall for one."
