TW: Slight gore, Anger

Sunny awoke in the grey space he was once in many times. Omori was there as well, welcoming the boy. Sun was confused. Omori despised him. How could he be so... nice?

Omori walked up to him. "I'm glad you forgave yourself, you know. With the Mari incident." Sunny took a step back, stunned. Omori was acting much differently. "You called me, know that? Maybe not on purpose, but you did." He then smiled, almost manically. "Mhm, You're gonna have to beat me again."

The hikikomori then pulled out a large knife, slashing the air right next to Sunny in the same second. "So come on. Don't pussy out with the violin, that won't work again." Grinning madly, he continued to barrage Sunny with knife strikes from all around.

The boy tried his best to avoid it, but he got hit a few times. He was growing tired quickly, and Omori didn't seem to get tired.

Sunny was failing, and it seemed to never end. Blood fell from the numerous cuts and slices over Sun's body.

It was hard to fight back too, he was occupied with deflecting the hits. But the slightest opening spoke to Sunny, and he jumped to it. Literally.

Sunny jumped on top of Omori as he was pulling back, making both of them fall to the dark ground. Omori's eyes widened and he immediately tried to pry the boy off of him.

But I mean, he was only twelve, fighting a 17-year-old.

Sunny absolutely pounded Omori's face with a single punch as Omori dug the knife into his throat.

They both fell to the side and passed out, exhausted. Sunny, with the last bit of strength, flipped Omori off as he saw him disappear into ash again. "...Fuck you."

...

It was hard. Playing the violin. Sunny couldn't get the one last bit right, and Mari was furious. It had been weeks, and the boy kept making the same mistake.

Mari almost spat out her words, gritting her teeth. "Sunny... I just can't with you! You are seriously so dumb, can't you get it right for once!?" She clenched her fists, ridden with rage. Her brother was quite dumb.

Sunny swallowed the sinking feeling and held back tears. How could he not get it right?

The boy shook his head as his sister asked, almost yelling. "Are you doing this on purpose? Is that what you're trying to do?" She sighed and pointed to the door. "Get out. Just get out, Sunny!"

He sniffled and ran out, overcome by emotions. Tears flooded his eyes and he looked down the stairs, only now realizing he had thrown the violin down subconsciously. What was wrong with him...?

Mari burst out of the room nearby. She had heard the crash.

Her eyes locked onto the violin, then onto her brother. "Sunny-" She took a breath and stepped in front of him. "... You're so stupid."

The boy clenched his hands into fists and looked down at the ground, reveling in shame. How could he be so stupid? Stupid little boy.

Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid little boy. Stupid litt-

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?!" She yelled as she pulled his ear. Sunny whimpered a little and tears came to his black eyes. "... I don't wanna play!" He yelled.

Basil heard a few yells. He peeked from the downstairs corner. Mari and Sunny were arguing from above the stairs. The blond knew he shouldn't eavesdrop, but something wasn't right.

Mari screamed. "Oh please! Why wouldn't you tell me, hm?! Do you take me as a fool?! You just want the attention. You're so selfish! Your friends bought that for you!" Sunny could barely take it anymore.

His tears fell to the floor as he screamed back. "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE, I HATE YOU!"

As the words slipped, the world went still. Mari's black hair ruffled as she flew downwards, pushed by her brother. The rage faded to a stare full of fear. And regret.
