Chapter 10

Lauren's POV
  Hayes and I got in Mom's car and she drove us to school. She dropped us off and walked with me inside. I wasn't embarrassed when my mom walked me to school mostly because she was freaking Kylie Jenner. We went to the principal's office because Mom said she needed to talk to her.
  "Miss Jenner. How nice of you to stop by. I would like to talk to you Lauren, concerning your fame and how you will not be harassed by students or be surrounded by paparazzi or other students." she said. "I said I would help her." I forgot Hayes was still here. "Yes, I understand Mister Grier but I find you should let the adults handle it." she answered.
  "But I would still like Hayes to take care of Lauren." Mom said.
  "Of course, of course." the principal said.
  "Lauren, you should know that I had an assembly with the school asking them to treat you like any other student." she said.
"I appreciate that, thank you." I answered and we left.
  Hayes and I had every class together so he could help me with getting used to the people and evil teachers. I signed up for cheerleading because I loved doing flips and gymnastics in my room when I was locked in my room at the orphanage. I was always good at doing gymnastics and I was small and light so I was easily picked up or thrown around. I went to try outs and Hayes came.

  Hayes and I walked to the gym to find out if I made it in. Hayes also wanted to see if he made it into the football team. We walked over to a board with sheets of teams with players.
  "OMG HAYES I MADE IT IN!" I screamed hugging Hayes.
  "Great job, Lauren!" Hayes said kissing my cheek. It didn't bother me because he did it as friends. Right?....
  We walked to another sheet of paper to check if Hayes made it in.
  "Hayes, you made it in!" I hugged him and his eyes lit up.
  We walked to Mom's car and we where driving to my house.
  "Mom, I made it into the cheerleading team!" I basically screamed in her ear.
"I'm happy for you honey, but please don't scream in the car, I could get into a car accident." I apologized and asked if Hayes and I could study at Hayes's house.
"I was hopping we could have dinner together but since you have already done something amazing in your first day of school, I guess you could stay for dinner, but I have a photoshoot so you can't go because I can't pick you up. Also it's far away and I was gonna have grandma Kris drive you to school, sorry you can't go." she said.
"She can sleep over, and Nash could drive us to school." Hayes offered.
  "I guess that's ok." she answered.
  Just then, I got an email from the school. I read it aloud.
  "Dear students, because of water problems at school, it is flooded and for the next week you will have no school."
  "Yay!" We shouted and Mom didn't get mad, she actually smiled.
  We drove home to get my pjs and clothes for the next day. I got back in the car and Mom drove us at his house. She dropped us off at the front.
  "Be good, sweetie!" And she kissed my forehead.
"Mom!" I whispered, embarrassed.
  Hayes chuckled and we walked in.
