Chapter 23

Hayes's POV
After Lauren rushed to the bathroom we all got really worried "Maybe one of us should go see her. You know, to make sure she's ok" I said breaking silence "I don't know... Maybe she needs space, all this celebrity stuff maybe got to her head and its to much pressure for her to handle. I mean, she was asked to pose for a big magazine and she's just 15" Taylor said. I didn't want to admit it but I agreed with him and I wish I could just go hug her and tell her everything is gonna be ok... But I can't because I don't know what she's going through.

Lauren's POV
I looked at the mirror in front of me and saw a woman standing behind me with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She reminded me of someone but I couldn't remember who. She slowly walked next to me putting her both hands on my cheeks smiling at me "You're so grown up and gorgeous " she said her voice sweet but evil still dripping from her words "Who the hell are you?" I said harshly "Wow you really don't remember your own mother" she said and I stared in shock "That's impossible you left me! You left me so leave me alone!" I screamed "Wait this isn't real" I mumbled to myself "Bingo" mom said "Why are you here?" I questioned "You should tell the guys about me, just open up to them. They just know what the rest of the world knows" she said. I closed my eyes for a second and opened them again she was gone. What the hell... I got out of the bathroom and the boys were all leaning against the wall in front of the girls bathroom door all looking at me with worried looks "Lauren are yo-" I ran to Hayes and hugged him letting tears rush down my face like a water fall.

We sat, in our living room, in silence no one daring to bring up what just happened "I've known you guys for a while now and I think you should know about my past and such..." I said as everyone looked at me "Well... As you know I'm adopted and before all of that I lived with my grandma because my mom left me with her because she didn't want me anymore and she was always at the bar getting drunk or having a party while I locked myself in my room at a young age. I haven't seen her in about 9 years maybe? I lived with my grandma until we got in a car accident and she didn't make it..." I said leaving a warm tear fall down my face. I felt the embrace of Cameron as I snuggled my face in the crook of his neck letting more tears stream down my face. I sat back up "They brought me to a police station while they tried to find me a family member to take care of me but I don't have any aunts, uncles or anything so my only option was an orphanage" I finished all sad and they all grouped up and we had a long group hug "We're your family Lauren forever and always" Carter said "I'm really glad I met you guys" I whispered into the hug
