Elsa sat on her bed, scared to even do so much as wander into the halls in case she ran into her sister, Anna. Ever since the day she had hurt her sister, she had locked herself away so that Anna would not find out about her powers. So that she would not be harmed in case of Elsa's powers being unstable. Elsa looked around her room at the snow and ice that she could not control. It seemed that no matter what she did, the snow would not melt. Snow started to fall outside the window, a sign of another winter's night. But tonight, it felt different. Something made Elsa step from the bed and move to the window. She looked out at the snow with wonder in her eyes, something that she hadn't felt in a long time. It seemed as if the outdoors was calling to her, wanting her to come play. To do the one thing her sister always begged her to do, build a snowman. But she was locked in and wasn't to leave, so she just sat, putting her face to the glass. Staring out at the one thing she would never be able to play in as long as she couldn't control her powers.

Jack felt himself called to the kingdom of Arendelle. Someone here needed his help, needed hope. So, he decided to let it snow. But something in him felt that he hadn't completed his task, what he had set out to do. He flew on the wind currents, looking for the source of the nagging feeling in his gut. He started to feel the knot in his gut tighten as he made his way closer to the castle. He knew this was where he was needed most. And what he found was a sight he didn't expect. A little girl leaned against her window in a room full of snow. Snow that he hadn't created. He flew into the room, landing on a bed of snow. He looked at the little girl, still glued to the window, wondering if she was like him. "Who are you," he asked. Elsa didn't respond, as she couldn't see him. "I think I'll keep an eye on you. I feel like you have potential, and I just don't know what it is." With that, he flew back through the wall, stopping and placing his hand on the opposite side of the glass where the child's hand rested.
