This is my third year participating in ONC. I couldn't complete my work both the previous years but I'm hoping ardently this wouldn't be the case this time. The prompts of course are wonderful this year.
This story is for more personal reasons than for this contest but I hope you all find something in it too. The idea inspiring this story has been nagging me for long and I have discarded three variations of it before settling on this one. This is a simple story plot wise (given the ONC entries that I've seen for this year) but I do hope you all give this a chance. Also, I really hope this can finally help me come out of the writing block that seems to have locked my words and my pen.

The cover is self designed (ya it's not that great but I really loved the images. Oh, the images are taken from Pinterest)
This is the first draft and hence, there are chances of mistakes despite my best efforts. Please bear with me till I venture into the editing phase after, forgive the errors till then.
