Intro: first day

Hello!
I'm writing for the first time so please excuse me if it isn't so good, some parts of this story is influenced from my own life so I might include some real-life events here. I haven't taken the storyline of this ff really seriously, so please excuse me if it's a bit unrealistic, but all of us are here to escape reality after all✨

Fuck the pandemic, y/n thought as soon as she woke up. Y/n is a 15 year old, and today is her first day at her new school. She had online classes till now due to the pandemic but now she has to actually go there.

The weather was chilly. Y/n was supposed to be excited going to a new school but you know how introverts are...she entered the school campus and looked for her class teacher.
She found her and greeted her,"good morning, ma'am!". The teacher instructed her to join her class's line. She walked over to the nearest line without giving it a second thought. It was only when she saw a tall, male figure in front of her that she realised she was standing in the boy's line.

She instantly felt embarrassed and rushed to the girls line. "Great!" She thought. "Not even a minute since I've entered and I'm already messing things up"

Soon they reached their classroom and since it was the first day at school, the teachers weren't teaching that day. Y/n was eager to make new friends, but since she already knew all of their names from the online classes but knew nothing abt them made her nervous.
She could identify most of them— in the first bench, there was Gaya - long,black hair, sun tanned skin, tall and thin, then next to her was Drew- bright-skinned, plumpy, kinda short, with curly hair, and then-

"OH MY GOD-
Who is tha-
Ofc!Choi Soobin!" y/n thought.
Choi Soobin was one of the best students of the class, the other one being y/n. No shit, he was handsome as fuck and all the girls liked him (well, not y/n ofc. Coz when the most handsome boy of your class is your competitor, you can barely stand him, much less fall for him).
For a moment, y/n was so flattered that she didn't realise she was staring.And to her surprise, he was staring back at her. She quickly broke the eye contact and turned away.

Ever since she first joined this school during the pandemic, even in the online classes, his name— Choi Soobin —always drew her attention.

So, the day continued, they had fun, and got back home.
