Soobin's PoV:

I couldn't sleep. I was mad at myself. Why did I push away my chances of talked to y/n all this time? Do I even deserve her for doing that?

I made sure everyone was asleep and slowly got out of the room.
A small light is on in the kitchen. Is someone still awake?

I went to the kitchen to spot the prettiest girl I had ever set my eyes on.

"Hey y/n...you haven't slept yet?" I asked as I walked closer to her.

"Nope...I couldn't." She smiled slightly.
She held a cup of hot chocolate in her hands.

"You...should tell him you know..." I said, referring to Junho.

I moved to the counter to make myself some hot chocolate too.

"Yeah, I wanted to, but I couldn't. You did it for me, thank you!!" She beamed.

I poured my hot chocolate into a mug and sat next to her, on the kitchen counter.

My eyes drifted to her palm, it had several scratches on it. "Y/n...did this happen when you hung on to the cliff?" I asked, concern fully.

"Oh, it's nothing!", she tried to pull her hand away but I grabbed her wrist.
"I'll treat the wounds, you don't need to worry about it." I assured.
"No it'll be fi-"
"Y/n, you gotta trust me." I said as I stood up and opened the door of one of the cabinets and found the first-aid kit I had mistaken for a box of biscuits few days ago.

I stood in front of her as I carefully applied some ointments on her scratches, and put bandages on her while my other palm was wrapped around her wrist. "I'm sorry about earlier, y'know...how I barged in the room and everything, I was just really worried you were hurt..." I said, making no eye contact.

"No that's okay, thank you for caring for me, Soobin, it means a lot." She smiled.

THAT caught my attention.

I looked up at her, and we locked eyes.
She looked beautifully serene in the dim, yellowish-golden light.
The eye contact never seemed to break, and I didn't want it to. "You're pretty..." The words just slipped out of my mouth, But I was kind of happy that happened, but as soon as I said that, our eye contact broke.

"W-what?" She looked flustered. I couldn't tell if she was blushing due to the light being yellow, but it definitely felt that way. I smirked internally, proud of my actions.

"Sorry, that was random, it just slipped out of my mouth..."

"Nah that's ok!!" She smiled.

I finished treating her scratches and sat back next to her.
We sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes, another thing I appreciated a lot.

After sometime I turned to look at her, only to see she was asleep, leaning against the wall
She looked like an angel who came straight from heaven.
I chuckled lightly as I leaned back into the wall, and gently rested her head on my shoulder.
