16. Attack

Life was good now.

Y/n made new friends!! She never made an effort to make friends before.
She also wanted to ignore the fact that she's the only girl in her group of friends.

Today's classes were over and all 5 of them were walking out of the school premises.

She knew Yeonjun pretty well already, she was getting to know Soobin, Taehyun and Kai.

Others would've seen this as an opportunity to be with their crush but y/n didn't want to make Soobin uncomfortable.
She wanted their relationship to grow and take its time. Love or not that came later.
But she didn't want to suppress her feelings for that.

She knew she liked Soobin, but she wasn't hitting on him because she didn't know whether this feeling was mutual. She just admired him from far.

She did notice that Soobin had warmed up to her these days. They had become pretty close.

"Yo y'all want to go to a club tonight?"Yeonjun asked.

"Don't we need...IDs??" Y/n asked.

"What y/n?! We thought you were the innocent and obedient kind!!" Kai frowned.

"Told ya I'm a lot more than what I seem..." y/n replied.

"And about the IDs, don't worry,we have fake ids, I don't think it'll be difficult to get you one too!" Taehyun assured.

"But y/n, no pressure, come only if you're comfortable. Have you been to a club before?" Soobin asked.

"Yeah...once, I was really small, maybe about 13...? Our uncle took me and Beomgyu to a club. But things went wrong. I didn't really know much about alcohol and stuff, I was just thirsty, i saw a glass full of liquid on the counter so I drank it. Apparently, the liquid was whiskey so I fainted. I was hospitalised for 3 days after that..." y/n laughed.

"But I'm sure I'll be able to control my alcohol now, I'm pretty grown up compared to then..." she added.

"Sure, let's get going then!" Soobin said.

"Ooh!! I know a good club here." Kai skittered along the road. They kept walking and soon reached a fancy building.

"What about my id?" Y/n asked.

"Go with Soobin and Taehyun, they'll show you." Yeonjun said as he walked in with Kai.

"Yeah come with us." Taehyun lead the way, followed by y/n and Soobin.

They entered a narrow road, and Taehyun kept going until they reached a old abandoned shed.

"Guys...are you sure about this...?" Y/n felt nervous.

"C'mon we'll be okay..." Soobin inched closer to her.

Taehyun opened the door and walked in, followed by the 2 of them.

"It should be here..." Taehyun mumbled as he went deeper inside the darkness.

Suddenly, y/n touched something and yelped.
She climbed onto Soobin's arm, shielding herself from god-knows-what.

"Y/n...are you okay...?" Soobin asked.

"Hey it's okay, it was just a spider web." Taehyun said.

Y/n slowly came out and hid she was embarrassed. She wasn't supposed to be scared of a spider web!! Maybe it was just the weird feeling it gives us when we touch it,she thought.

"I-Im sorry..." she told Soobin.

"Nah, that-that's okay..." he replied looking anywhere but at her.

From the dim light of the windows, she noticed that his cheeks were dusted with a pink hue.
