After disembarking from the plane in Pakyong Airport, Maya took Rose's hand and marveled at just how easy it had become. After Bex signed the settlement documents and everything was notarized, she sent the papers in and the sums were deposited within Rose and her siblings accounts. Immediately following this, Maya was removed as Rose's legal counsel and Sandra would be overseeing Lucas, Lisa and Rose's division of the company and the sales thereafter. Soon, the younger siblings would have the financial stability they sought and Rose planned on keeping true to her word by dividing her assets evenly throughout her employees.

They would be getting a giant summer bonus and in the interim, she and Maya could take the time to simply relax. They now stood on her uncle's street after exiting the cab that carried them further into the mountains and she found wonderment strewn across Rose's features. She hadn't been able to pull her from her ogling out of the window on the plane and on the road. Sure that Rose hadn't done much traveling in her short time on earth, Maya was more than willing to let her enjoy the spoils it brought.

It was the last of her personal vices after all and something she hoped to enjoy with her throughout what she hoped would be years upon years together. Maya took her hand as she finished getting her suitcase from the cab, then handed the driver some money through the window. He pulled away back in the direction from whence they came and she glanced up at Rose to find that same awestruck expression, making her giggle.

"Where exactly have you traveled before, Rose?"

"Umm, I went to Southern Mexico when I was a kid and Canada when I was an adult for a carpentry convention, but other than that I haven't really been anywhere outside of the states." Rose finally tore her eyes away from the village and sent her that enthusiastic grin she wore so well. "Do you travel a lot?"

"I do when I can, but mostly it's been to Asia. I'd love to visit Japan next." Rose's eyebrows slowly journeyed up her forehead and she turned toward her, keeping one hand within hers and the other on her suitcase handle. "Would you like to come with me then as well?"

Rose vehemently nodded with sparkling eyes and Maya turned around, pointing at the large hotel at her back. "This is my uncle's establishment. He and Josephine's husband are twins, so you may have trouble telling them apart, but they will all live here together now." Gesturing for Rose to follow her in, she watched each of her many expressions as she ran her eyes over the courtyard blossoming with the first spring flowers of the year and led her further inside. "The hotel is closed and has been for the last week with the return of Uncle Jamyang is Josephine's husband and was the manager of a hotel in Seattle for about four decades. He now holds shares in the company and is able to live in retirement very easily, but wants to have something to do, so they decided to move back here once she was retired as well."

"Jamyang. Right, and what was your other uncle's name?"

Maya smiled from ear to ear. "Just call them Jammy and Kun, which is short for Kunzan. Jammy and Kun were inseparable in their youth, so you'll have a laugh riot on your hands with them. And it's very easy to talk to them both." As she finished her speech, Jammy came out from the hotel's main doors and outstretched his arms. She ran to him and was swamped in a hug with another pair of arms encircling them as well. As she pulled back, she realized her other uncle stood there as well and beamed up at him. "Hey! Timilai kasto cha?"

"Mahana!" They answered in unison with the same cheesy chuckles.

"Is this who I think it is?" Uncle Kun asked as she motioned toward Rose as she timidly approached. Maya nodded and took Rose's hand as soon as she'd traveled the steps up to the enormous wrap around porch. Kun held out his hand and took Rose's free hand as soon as she arrived. "Welcome! I hope you enjoy the party!"
