"I don't get it! I haven't seen her in over a three weeks! THREE WEEKS!" Neteyam screams out feeling frustrated not being able to see the girl he likes. "Yeah I know you've told me like twenty time already." Lo'ak says annoyed with his brother wining.
He decided to just let his brother rant then try an continue the conversation because the last time he did well it didn't go so well...
Flashback
"You haven't seen her? We hung out all day yesterday. Im going to help her out today too." Lo'ak says nonchalantly getting ready to meet Etstukä. "What?! You did WHAT?!" Neteyam yells out looking at Lo'ak.
"Le-Let me me go with you." Neteyam asks standing up "No. If she really is avoiding you I don't want her to not trust me because of you." Lo'ak says before pushing Neteyam back down.
"But I-" Neteyam tries to explain, trying to stand back up "No. End of discussion." Lo'ak says pushing him back down. Neteyam glares at him.
Knowing what is coming he decides to run.
Run as fast as he can. One to not get beat by his brother and two for Neteyam not to follow him.
Let's just say Neteyam was still angry when he came home
End of Flashback
"Mhm." Lo'ak hums trying to end the conversation. "Are you even listening to me?!" Neteyam exclaims Lo'ak nods in responds "Me and Tsireya have been trying to find out why this is happening. She just won't say anything." Lo'ak explains trying to calm down his angry brother.
"Just keep looking for her, and don't let her go when you do." Lo'ak says before getting up to meet up with Etstukä. "Where are you going?" Neteyam asks also standing up "Im just going to meet up with Tsireya." Lo'ak lies as he walks out.
Neteyam is left there alone with his thoughts. Wondering why did this happen, wondering why she's avoiding him.
While on the other side of the village is Etstukä helping her mother patch up the warriors. She hasn't thought much about Neteyam, keeping herself busy. Whenever she would find her mind wondering to him, she would find something to do if that was either help her mom or causing trouble with her twin.
Neteyam might have not seen Etstukä, but Etstukä has seen Neteyam not intenchaly of course thats why she was able to not be seen. Etstukä is very observant she can tell when they have invited Neteyam or when he is going to be there.
While everyone else wondered how she always found out. And it lead everyone to believe that Etstukä was really avoiding Neteyam. It's also lead them to believe that something happened while they were together it was to the point that even Aonung noticed.
If the group wanted to hang out with Etstukä they couldn't invite Neteyam, but if they didn't invite Neteyam kiri wouldn't go then Lo'ak wouldn't go the Tsireya wouldn't go. Its a train one doesn't go the rest don't, and Etstukä noticed it so she just stopped hanging out with them as a group.
Always declined their offer, and if she were to hang out as a group it would only be Aonung and Rolxo. She hasn't hung out with Tsireya noticing that she would try and make her hang out with Neteyam. One time she almost succeeded after that she didn't talk to her for a week.
But of course she couldn't stay mad at her, Tsireya came crying to her saying she will never do it again and well Etstukä felt bad so she forgave her. Tsireya cried in her arms for almost two hours, Etstukä even let Tsireya sleep over at her mauri.
Tsireya stayed true to her word, and never tried to get them in a room together. Of course she felt bad for Neteyam, but she doesn't want to risk her relationship with her sis just for a boy. She told Neteyam why she just couldn't do it, he understood but he couldn't help but feel hopeless.
Etstukä started avoiding him, Lo'ak stopped helping him then Tsireya stopped helping him. He just doesn't get why this is happening. Did he take it too far? Did he make her uncomfortable? He just wants to know why she's avoiding.
Time Skip
Etstuka just came back from training, while Neteyam is walking on the beach about to give up on this crush of his. Not that he is going to stop liking her he just going to stop perusing her.
Just then he see her, her weapons fell out of her hands. First he thanked Ewya then ran to her. "Ah, thank yo-" She says before cutting herself off shocked that he is in front of her.
He gives her a bright smile, she doesn't smile back but instead takes the stuff from his hands. He dodges letting out a little laugh.
"I can carry my own things." Etstukä says sternly glaring at him "yeah I know but I also need to talk to you so" He says before walking away, ecstatic that he finally got to see her.
Oh god why doesn't he just give up already its exhausting...
