When we get in the shop I stop dead in my tacks. I see him. PETER. Why is he here? I look over at Tobias and he doesn't pay much mind that Peter is here. I walk over to Skyler and Tobias, trying to forget the fact the he is even on the face of the earth.

"You okay, Tris?" Tobias asks me.

"Umm... Peter" I whisper to him.

"Peter Hayes?"

"Yes."

"Is Eric here too?"

"I have no idea, but I hope he's not."

"He better not," Tobias says then I nod, agreeing with him.

I look around and see that Skyler is sitting at a table, eating her ice cream with a little boy. I smile but it quickly fades as Eric walks over to the table. I hit Tobias with my elbow.

"What was that for?" he mumbles.

"Look at Sky. She's with Eric, go over there."

"Ugh... why do I have to do all the work?"

"Just go," I say as I push him over.

He sighs then walks over to the table. They start talking, and what surprises me most is that they even start laughing. Tobias looks over in my direction and calls me over and I walk to the table and sit, hoping I don't have to stay for long.

"You remember the stiff, right?" Tobias says to Eric.

"Of course how could I forget," Eric says, in that same creepy dark voice he used all the time in high school.

"Hi," I say, trying to be nice and resisting the urge to nock Eric's teeth right out of his mouth, then, of course, peter walks over.

"Hey who's the- STIFF!" Peter says and I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, and the name is Tris."

"She's da girl form the high school story?" The boy asks.

"Yup," Eric says, "Oh and this is my little brother Jason," He says, gesturing to the little boy.

We keep talking for a while as the kids play around. We exchange phone numbers so the kids can meet up and have a play date some time soon. After we do that we leave the shop. I look at my phone and it's about 3:09.

"Sky, pick one last place you want to go," I say.

"Because it's getting late," Tobias adds.

"Toy store!" She cheers.

"Okay, then we go back to the campus."

"Yes mommy," Skyler says, and then we walk to the toy store.
