One fateful day where the sun was shining, the flowers were in bloom, and petals in the air, Hyunjin went to the fowerfield by his house. It was behind the park so no one was ever there with him. He found it when he was five. He's six now and it's his favorite place to go when he got home from school. His mom didn't mind when he went but she was starting to get worried because he had taken longer today. On Hyunjin's end he had just found a very new friend that would become a comfort to him. He had just gotten to the field when he heard a noise come from behind the tree he always laid against. When he peeked around the trunk of the tree he saw a boy, the boy had fair skin, pretty brown hair with a bit of blonde in the front. When the boy looked at him he was mesmerized by his eyes as well. "Hey, are you new around here or something?" The kid said trying to come off as..mean? "No, I always come here. I should be asking you that question," Hyunjin said curiously, " Well why would I tell a stranger?" The brunette said. "Oh yeah, my name is Hyunjin, what's your name?" The younger looking kid took a moment to respond before saying "My name's Seungmin," Hyunjin hummed at that before he realized how late it was. "Oh no my mom's gonna kill me!" Hyunjin cried out all of a sudden, Seungmin jumped a little at this before muttering under his breath.

After that day Hyunjin and Seungmin met up there everyday after school. Hyunjin quickly found out that Seungmin was younger than him by a year. Safe to say Seungmin didn't hear the end of it that day. This went on for another four years before the day they were forced apart. Hyunjin was waiting for Seungmin by the tree because he was late. Hyunjin had ended up making a flower crown out of daisy's. When he finally saw the brunette Seungmin looked distant, like he wanted to say something but couldn't. Seungmin finally spoke up " Hey, Hyunjin?" Hyunjin got anxious at this because why would his best friend be so serious unless it was important. "I wanted to say goodbye before I left and I only have a little bit more time before I have to go.. My dad is making us move to the states for his job and I don't know when I will come back.." Hyunjin heard Seungmin sniffle from beside him; all Hyunjin did was cling onto Seungmin until he had to let go; when he did have to, he decided to give him the flower crown he made while he was waiting, but never once did he cry until Seungmin was out of sight. If you asked Hyunjin if he slept at all that night he would lie and say yeah just so you didn't worry because it's his last year in elementary, he was supposed to enjoy this last year.

When Seungmin came into his life everyone could tell you he brightened up but as soon as he left he took that brightness with him for a while.
Hyunjin wasn't as bright as he used to be but he was better because he had his new friends he made in middle school, they were both a year older than him but that didn't stop them from hanging out at school. Minho and Changbin were both quite the character's, if you watched them mess around you would think Changbin liked Hyunjin and that Minho wanted to seriously hurt him sometimes. They were like brothers though and that helped Hyunjin a lot especially when he needed the comfort they were there to provide it.
