A Field Of Flowers - Seungjin

Chapter Two

Hyunjin Pov

    The next day I wanted to mess with Seungmin. What if I bring up memories we made just to mess with him. When I got to school I saw Changbin, Chan, and Minho all in the same spot we were yesterday. Felix was walking over with Jisung, Jeongin, and Seungmin. "Hi you guys!" Felix said cheerfully, I noticed that Chan was weirdly silent. When I looked over he was just staring at Felix. I nudged him and raised an eyebrow, "Pay attention," I whispered. He glared at me for two seconds before Seungmin spoke up, "Well, we wanted to see if you all wanted to hang out with us." Minho automatically perked up, chirping a quick "Yes, we would love to!"
    As we hung out with the other four I noticed something, everyone has their own eye candy. Minho and Jisung were practically undressing each other with their eyes. I found out that me, Jisung, Felix, and Jeongin are all presenting this year. I'm presenting in about a day, the others are months away except Jeongin he's already presented as an omega. The weird thing is he covers his marks with makeup, so I have no clue what his flower is. Changbin was flirting with him the whole time talking about how they are destined when he hasn't even seen his mark. Chan and Felix were talking about whatever, don't blame me they were talking about random stuff I don't care to think about. Lastly Seungmin was stuck with me "You know, I used to have a friend that I would meet up with in a flower field when I was six," I stated, "Oh yeah?" Seungmin replied with, "Yeah you both have the same name too Seungmin." Seungmin paused for a moment, stunned by what I just said. "You knew the whole time?" Seungmin finally asked, "Not the whole time but, practically..?" Seungmin shook his head and chuckled, when he did, a petal from a flower fell in his hair. He looked beautiful, I reached out to grab the petal. When I grabbed it I realized it was a daisy petal and giggled about it. When Seungmin realized he giggled too, "Did you miss me at all?" He asks suddenly, "Yeah maybe a little too much to be honest." "That's good to hear," He replied happily.
       The next day I woke up and went to do my skin care, but when I looked in the mirror I noticed the petals of a daisy on the right side of my collarbone. I quickly decided to call chan. "Yo Chan I finally got my mark!" "Really!!" Chan sounded more excited than I am. "What flower do you have?" He asked curiously, "It's a daisy." I stated still staring at the daisy petals. "Well, I'll see you at school," "Oh and I advise you tell everyone before Minho and Changbin harass you."
        When I got to school Minho and Changbin were glaring at me so I did the most reasonable thing and glared at Chan. "Really?" I asked, "They wouldn't leave me alone okay!" Chan responded, "Uh huh," Minho got closer and pulled the front of my shirt down to expose my collarbone to the world. "What the fuck Min? What are you doing," I asked, "Looking obviously," Changbin was looking too. All of a sudden I hear a whistle, it was from behind Changbin, "Wow Hyunjin were you not gonna tell us too?" Jisung said, raising a brow. The other two peeked from behind him and Felix.

--A year later--

Seungmin Pov

   It's a few hours before I present and I'm really nervous because I realized when I got back to Seoul that I have feelings for Hyunjin. So what if my mate isn't Hyunjin, what are you thinking Seungmin he's your friend. I'm gonna scroll on tik tok to pass the time and get rid of my worries.
   It's now a minute until midnight, I'm counting down the seconds. Three, two, one, It's my birthday! But I don't feel any different? I'm gonna go to the bathroom before bed I guess. When I got to the bathroom my eyes started tingling. I Looked up at the mirror and noticed petals on my eyes. To be more specific daisy petals, as in the same ones Hyunjin has. Theres not way this is happening!! I can't control my happiness! I let out a few squeals of pure excitement. I'll tell Lix, Innie, and Ji tomorrow at school.
   At school Lix and Ji came running up to me and hid behind me while Jeongin was chasing them "what happened?" I asked, "They were teasing me about Changbin so they deserve to get punched. Well Jisung does." "HEY!" Jisung yelled. "Well, stop, I have important news. Come with me." I said cutting the conversation. We all make it to an empty classroom and I wipe my makeup off my eyes. All three of them gasped, "So Hyunjin is your mate?" Felix asked, "Yeah I guess?"

Minho's Pov

    I've noticed Seungmin and Hyunjin getting closer in a way that isn't friends but more of a.. Lovers approach? Who cares about that though. An alyssum it's a pretty flower, I think it suits me well.I wonder what Jisung's flower is, it must be as pretty as he is. Jisung is so cute from his chubby cheeks, to his dirty blonde hair that frames his face perfectly, and his cute lips I want to kiss so bad. Chan says I'm crazy but he's on the same wavelength when it comes to Felix. Same with Changbin and Jeongin. I want to try getting closer to Hyunjin but how? I want to ask Chan but he wouldn't let it go if I slip up. Hyunjin seems like a good alternative. Later on that week I got Hyunjin alone. "What do you need from me hyung?" I took a moment to respond because how do you say this. "Well as you know I have a little crush on Jisung." I started with, "But I don't know how to get closer to him." I finished, "Just be friendly and trustworthy." Hyunjin said as if it was so easy. "No what if I mess it up?" I asked back. "Yeah like you would let yourself." Hyunjin said sarcasticlly. "Plus you both are stripping each other with your eyes." Hyunjin pointed out. "Would you like to be air fried today?" I asked with a smile.
