Jaden pursues Marcel through the cave the latter busted open, hoping to prevent Marcel from obtaining three all-powerful cards known as the Sacred Beasts. Up ahead, three girls appearing top to be around the same age as Jaden and Marcel appear in the pathway: a red-haired girl, a blonde girl, and a girl with purple hair. Marcel pushes right past them, completely ignoring the girls. When Jaden approaches them, all 3 girls notice him, rush towards him, and throw themselves at him.

"We've been waiting for you to come find us", the red-haired girl remarks.
"Sorry, but I've never met any of you before", Jaden remarks. He pushes the three girls off of himself, stands up, and continues running after Marcel. The three girls quickly get up and chase after him.
Jaden emerges into a big room to find Marcel staring at an empty capsule.
"The Sacred Beasts aren't here", Marcel shouts, "Did you do something with them?"
"You got here before I did, how could I have?", Jaden points out. The three girls enter the room, laughing.
"Did you three take them?", Marcel ask the girls.
"Like we'd ever help you, Yubel", the blonde girl taunts.
"Yubel?", Jaden muses. A shadow form emerges from Marcel, who them collapses. The form then solidifies, revealing a female humanoid fiend creature with wings and a purple and white color scheme.
