•••happily ever after•••

The air is perfect. The wind is minimal but just enough to the point where the guest wont get hot. The beautiful sun shines bright through the clouds, making this a perfect day for a wedding.

Even with it being eleven in the morning, Jackie and I have everyone running around to make sure everything is perfect.

We still have a never ending list to cross off before the wedding at three. I cant even count the amount of deliveries we stili need to recieve, including the flowers and some of the center piece ribbons.

Currently, I am standing on the wrap around porch, putting together some of the pieces for the middle of the tables. Jackie and I only trusted this job with Katherine, Danny, and me because of the artisticness it sort of requires. Beings everyone else was busy, I had to sacrifice the time to finish a couple up.

They picked beautiful silver and white lanterns with cream flowers and different candles inside.

Over all, I love the whites and blue color scheme for their minimal wedding. I think if I were to get married, I would like all different colors, but the same tones so they tie in to each other. A wedding in the mountains with a small guest list would be perfect for me.

The side door slams, causing me to look up, my eyes squinting from the bright sun. Cole comes waltzing over with a grin displayed on his cocky face. I smile back at him, butterflies swarming my stomach. I missed seeing him like this. His confidence is the reason I was ever first attracted to him. Of course I pretended to hate it, but loved it.

He is wearing a gray short sleeve with black jeans, his school backpack slung over his shoulder casually. "Hey New York." Coles flirtacious voice musters. I lean against the railing, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Hey Cowboy." I say with the same tone back.

"Whatcha doing?" He leans onto the railing next to me, our bare arms touching. The electricity and warmth passes between us, making me actually remember that we are okay now.

"I had to finish these center pieces. Everything needs to be perfect." I explain, a little stress coming into mind once again.

Cole nudges my arm as I look up at him beside me. I want to just reach out so bad. "Its going to be great."
After a little silence, I clear my throat and look down at his bag. "Whats with the bag?"

"I am taking this to Mr. C." He explains, his smile turning completely genuine.

I turn my head, getting ready to tease him. "So you did do the essay?"

"I figured maybe I should try to pass the class. It's a good book so," I nod, actually proud of him.

"Look at you go." I prompt at him with a nudge.

He grabs his phone out of his pocket and pushes off of the railing. "Well, I should probably go. Or I might be late." He says sarcastically, winking at me.

"You better not be!" I call, looking down at my checklist once his back is turned to me.

The next hour consists of Jackie and I completely bossing people around and getting all of the individual crafts done. My mind is passing by with every thought so I can fill it with the wedding alone.
