She sat on her bed, whimpering as she stared at her hands. Full of scars, full of fear, full of terrifying memories.
In her hand, there was a pregnancy test.
Pregnant.
Her whole body shook, as her hands softly touched her slightly bloated tummy.
She was pregnant.
She didn't want to be.
Realising that she had been impregnated by her ex-husband, tears fell from her chocolaty eyes.
Her gaze softened as she stared at her stomach. It was her baby, after all.
And she would do anything to keep it safe.
"It's over. i'm going to lose my baby...lose my baby to him. It's over. No one, no one will be able to help me."
She moved closer. Hazelnut eyes full of emotions stared at the woman.
"Have you forgotten that i'm the best lawyer in Seoul?"

Yes, i am aware i have published this chapter before, and i am aware that i have thought about discontinuing this work, but oh well. i made some changes to chapter one and i will make further changes to future chapters! i hope you will like this work. this is one of my favourites, i couldn't bring myself to just discontinue it T-T i'll try my best to whip up something along the way!
