"What the fucking fuck do you want from me?" Jisoo hissed to her phone, trying not to be overheard by others.
A sarcastic laugh echoed from the other end of her call. "What do I want from you? The baby. I want the baby."
Jisoo dug her nails deep into the flesh of her knees, until reddish marks appeared in replacement of the place her nails were. "You're fucking naive if you even think that I would agree to that."
"I'm not asking, Kim Jisoo. I'm telling you." Bohyun said, with a lace of dark humour in his tone.
"Yeah, I don't fucking care. Stop calling me, you motherfucker. Goodbye." Jisoo said murderously, banging her phone down onto the table in front of her.
Suddenly, she felt her chest burst with feelings, her mind engulfed in memories that she never wanted to experience again. She held her head in pain, sliding down onto a random chair nearby slowly, inhaling and exhaling deeply to force herself to calm down.

-It was a sunday night. She was exhausted, so exhausted that she could barely stand up. However, her husband still was not home, and she wanted to stay awake to see him before falling asleep.
She didn't know what to do anymore. Her husband, Bohyun, was a guy that her grandfather had introduced her, and she, not wanting to disappoint her grandfather, whom she adored a lot, married him without arguing.
After finding out that his daughter at gotten married due to his father's request, Hyunwoo went to his daughter, furious. He was beyond angry knowing that his daughter got married just because his father had told her to do so.
From when she was still a child, Hyunwoo and his wife, Hayun, had always taught her to marry for love. Hyunwoo's brother followed his father's instructions to marry the daughter of a successful businessman, however, he had ended up committing suicide due to an unhappy marriage. Since then, Hyunwoo swore to himself to teach his children to marry for love.
Jisoo had told her parents multiple times that she was happy with Bohyun, that she loved him and he loved her as well, but deep down, she knew that they were all lies.
Nearly every single day since they had lived together, the house was full of screams and yells. She and Bohyun argued day and night, over big things to the teeniest tiniest silliest little things.
It was honestly pretty obvious that Bohyun had never and will never love Jisoo. Yes, she didn't love Bohyun, but that didn't mean that she hasn't tried. She did, and she still was. She had let herself try to fall in love with Bohyun, though it was kind of impossible due to him screaming at her every single day. Even though she didn't successfully fall for him, she was still sad knowing that she was the only one who put effort.
Jisoo wasn't necessarily heartbroken about Bohyun not loving her the slightest bit, she was more hurt because she thought she could fall for a man so arrogant and insensitive. Inhumane, even. She tried her best to love him, she really did. However, that seemed to have backfired on her, because feelings were involved.
Little Jisoo would be disappointed in her. Little Jisoo had always dreamed of finding her true love, finding the love of her life. And the Jisoo now knew that Bohyun could and would never be the love of her life. She had given up, it wasn't important anymore. Little Jisoo had also dreamed of a fairytale-like wedding, and Jisoo had failed her again. She and Bohyun only had papers signed, there was never an actual wedding ceremony.
Hyunwoo and Hayun knew. They knew their daughter wasn't happy with her marriage with Bohyun. In fact, they did not even like Bohyun. But what could they do? Their daughter was determined to fulfil her grandfather's wishes. Every time they saw Jisoo and Bohyun during a family gathering, they could only sigh. It was really obvious that the pair did not love each other. At all.
