"Gosh, Chaeyoung, you gotta stop asking me to bring you all your work folders. Can't you just rest a bit in the hospital?? We're all following up with all the cases, you needn't worry so much. Also, you've been working nonstop for so long, you should rest a little." Lisa wailed, walking into Room 520 as Chaeyoung, who was sitting on the bed, snorted.

"I can't help but to be responsible, can i? Also, i've endured many of the mistakes of trusting you people to do everything without me checking the work first. So, i have to work even if i'm at the hospital." Chaeyoung said sarcastically, making Lisa roll her eyes.

Lisa rolled her eyes. "You know you can trust me to take care of those idiots, right?" She asked, feeling annoyed at her boss.

Chaeyoung shrugged. "I know you can, but trust me, anything can happen with them. I've had a few complaints about them not taking the cases seriously, misinformation and misunderstandings happening in the trials...you don't know how many and extreme the complaints are."

Lisa facepalmed. "I know that, don't worry. I can take over things successfully for awhile, Chaeyoung. You're such a workaholic, why can't you just rest for awhile, just forget about work, and live life a little??" The brunette said dramatically.

Hearing the word 'workaholic', Chaeyoung remembered the conversation with Jisoo yesterday. She was a little down though, as the raven hasn't come into her room to check on her just yet. She didn't want to say it, but she had been expecting to see the raven doctor again. It was to say quite boring to be stuck in the hospital, and having someone- even if they're annoying- to talk to felt like a blessing to the lawyer. "Jisoo said that about me as well."

Staring at her best friend, who had a small smile on her face, (Park Chaeyoung smiling only happens once in ten years), Lisa raised her eyebrows. "Jisoo?"

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes. "Jisoo. Doctor Kim. My doctor."

The brunette instantly shifted into a gleeful grin, sitting down next to Chaeyoung, who rolled her eyes again at Lisa's annoying face. "I know who Jisoo is, bestie. You came to the hospital for.. three days and you already got yourself a girl?"

"i did not 'get myself a girl', Lisa. How many times do i have to tell you that i don't play around with relationships? You know i'm waiting to know who my soulmate is. i want to fall for the right person." Chaeyoung explained, taking a sip of her water from the hospital's paper cups.

Lisa rolled her eyes again. "Well, this true love thing is taking so loooooong. I just wanna see you happily in love, Chae. That way i can stop worrying about your ass."

"As if i need you to worry about me. Worry about yourself first, Lalisa." Suddenly, they were interrupted by a knock, making both women whirl around to face the person.

"Good morning, Chaeyoung! And Lisa. i hope i didn't interrupt anything." Jisoo squinted her eyes at Lisa, her sister Jennie's girlfriend.

"Hey unnie. Nice to see you again. And no, you didn't interrupt anything. i was just going to leave." Lisa said gleefully, winking multiple times at the blonde, who seemed to not be looking at the brunette. Lisa ran out of the door, leaving Jisoo and Chaeyoung alone. She stayed by the window though, looking at the way Chaeyoung and Jisoo chatted.

Lisa saw how Chaeyoung immediately blossomed into a bunch of big and pretty flowers the second she saw Jisoo. Smiling at herself as she turned to finally leave, she shook her head a little.

"Looks like someone is on the verge of falling."

Jisoo stared at the door quizzically, trying to think of when she met the woman Lisa. She looked way too familiar to her. Chaeyoung facepalmed, drawing Jisoo's attention. "What's Lalisa doing here? I thought she needed to work." Jisoo asked curiously.

"Yes she does, but I called her over to get her to bring me some files, but apparently you're not letting me work." Chaeyoung answered, still a bit embarrassed by the brunette.

The raven questioned her brain for five seconds, then decided to drop it as it wasn't that important. "Anyway, how are you feeling today?" Jisoo asked, putting her focus back on Chaeyoung and her notepad. "Any painful spots??"

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, clutching her head. "No, nothing painful. i just feel a bit bored since you're not letting me work." She said, planting headfirst against her pillow as Jisoo immediately held her broken leg away from the bed.

"Park, how many times do i have to tell you to be careful around your foot?? it's literally broken, stop whining about being bored and focus on healing your leg!!" Jisoo fretted, one of her hands over her forehead.

Seeing the raven so panicked, Chaeyoung let out a tiny smile, pushing herself closer to lean on the bed more comfortably. "Why are you so scared? I'm fine. And no, i wasn't and haven't been whining." Chaeyoung said, quite amused as she stared at Jisoo, who felt a faint tint of red enter her puffy cheeks.

"I was just worried, Miss Park. You are my patient, after all." Jisoo cleared her throat, hoping Chaeyoung wouldn't notice her blush.

Again, being one of the best lawyers and detectives out there however, of course Chaeyoung noticed. She also noticed how Jisoo, who was normally prim and proper, seemed a little shaky and nervous right then.

Seeing how the raven went silent, Chaeyoung grew a little concerned-- which never happens to the blonde. "Doctor? Miss Kim? Jisoo? Hey, you okay?" Chaeyoung asked, pulling Jisoo out of her little trance.

Blinking rapidly, Jisoo held her head as she scrunched her eyebrows together, trying to stop the dizzyness entering her eyes. Chaeyoung, who knew something was wrong immediately, pulled herself to the end of the bed-- near Jisoo the fastest she could.

Holding onto the bed's railing for support, Jisoo tried her best to stand-- until she couldn't. To stop the raven from collapsing onto the ground, Chaeyoung quickly pulled Jisoo into her arms, one hand clutching Jisoo's waist, the other one on Jisoo's tummy.

"Dizzy..."

"Miss Kim?? Jisoo?" Chaeyoung said worriedly, tapping on Jisoo's cheek, trying to get her to wake up.

The raven opened an eye drowsily, closing it again after a second. Chaeyoung released a breath, relieved that Jisoo was fine. She saw Jisoo opening an eye and closing it again, so she must be asleep.

Jisoo's chin was on Chaeyoung's shoulder, her body in Chaeyoung's arms as she slept. The blonde chuckled a little, surprisingly finding the raven quite cute. (Again, the lawyer doesn't find anyone cute.) She hated the fact that she wanted to stay in this position, but then the truth is that she also wanted Jisoo to sleep better, so Chaeyoung tried to tug the duvet out of her hospital bed. It didn't work, and Chaeyoung grumbled in annoyance.

Holding Jisoo in her arms, she carefully stood up on one leg, making sure she had her balance as she leant forward, allowing jisoo to slip under the covers. She could finally stare at Jisoo's sleeping form.

The raven looked like an innocent angel, quite different from her usual devilish behaviour towards Chaeyoung, (yes, Chaeyoung tends to be quite dramatic), her eyes and mouth closed as she breathed quietly. Chaeyoung let out a small smile, slowly running a hand over Jisoo's hair.

Shuffling to the nearest sofa, the blonde slowly fell onto it. Feeling unusually soft and warm after looking at Jisoo sleep, she closed her eyes as well, trying to stop a smile from tugging her lips.
