3rd pov:
(Y/n) Holmes, the middle Holms child. Just like her older brother, Mycroft, she took the responsibility of working for the queen for the same reason Mycroft has, leaving their youngest brother, Sherlock, in the dark of their family secret. The documents. But other than Mycroft, she showers her baby brother with sisterly affection and care.Today was a normal day in the palace. Nothing interesting has happened the day, leaving the young woman bored. Dusk came and she leaned against the wall next to her brother's office, her eyes closed. She tried to hear the conversation inside but the voices were muffled.
Moments later the person she was waiting for exited. Albert James Moriarty. He closed the door with a sighed. (Y/n) opened one eye to look at the emerald eyed man. "I hope my brother hasn't given you too much trouble." She voiced. Albert was startled by her but didn't show it. He turned his head to the woman's direction. "No worries my dear, your brother just assigned me on a new mission." He replied. (Y/n) nodded her head as she listened to him talk. "I see." She replied, pushing herself away from the wall and faced the brown haired man. "Care to join me for tea if you're not too busy?" She asked. "I'm free. Work starts tomorrow." Albert answered, a smirk rose to his beautiful face. (Y/n) mirrored his smirk. "Excellent." She said with a wide smile and her (e/c) eyes sparkling.
(Y/n's) pov:
I was glad that Albert accepted my invitation. We talked about how our day went as we walked towards my quarters. I enjoy it whenever Lord Albert would report in for duties. We would end up working together sometimes if we're investigating the same thing. I grew to enjoy his company. Our friendship grew to be something much more."Please take a seat while I make us some tea." I instructed the taller man and disappear into my kitchen.
Once the tea was ready, I joined him in my living room, handing him his warm cup of tea. I took my seat next to Albert, staring into his gorgeous, emerald green eyes. "You should visit more often. It gets bored without you and Mycroft is not the type for small talk." I complained, making Albert laugh. "I apologize for my absence, my dear, but I am busy with other matters and taking care of my brothers." Albert replied, amusement dancing in his eyes. I sighed. "I know but I miss you." I said, pouting. Albert gave me one of his signature, heart-warming smiles. "Speaking of brothers. I'm going to visit Sherlock tomorrow." I added. Albert nodded his head. "Does it get lonely with your siblings separated and hating each other?" Albert suddenly asked. I slowly nodded my head, processing what he said. "Yes. I mean, I can get so tired of Mycroft and Sherlock's fighting but that is their way of showing that they care for each other." I said, taking another sip of my tea.
It was nice to chat with Albert again. It's always nice to talk to someone else for a change and vent out my emotions. Albert is a very understanding person and helps where he can. He and I can understand each other.
At this moment, Albert and I were cuddling on the couch. The silence were comfortable and I felt Albert kiss my forehead. An ides came to my head and I flickered my (e/c) eyes up to his. "How do you think will my brother react when we tell him about us?" I asked, referring to Mycroft. Albert sighed and tightened his hold around my waist. "I don't know. He's unpredictable. He will either be alright with it or be against it. I don't even know how my own brothers will react to this." Albert confessed. I kissed his cheek. "Don't worry too much about it. We have been keeping our relationship a secret for about a year now." I said, hiding my disappointment, I didn't want to hide it anymore. I wanted to show the whole world that earl Albert James Moriarty belongs to me, just as I am his, and I think Albert feels the same way.
Our time together unfortunately came to an end. With a quick kiss to the lips, Albert excused himself. "See you tomorrow, after my visit with Sherly." I replied with a closed eye smile. "Until then my love. Sleep well." Albert said before leaving my living quarters. I cleaned my place and did my nigh routine before going to sleep.
I was woken by the sunlight shining through the curtains. I got up and got ready for the day.
Before heading off to Backers street, I quickly did a check up on Mycroft. I knocked on his office before entering. The black haired man looked up at me, placing down his pen. "Have you been awake all night again?" I asked, glaring at him. Mycroft didn't even try to deny it. "You have to take better care of your health. I swear, sometimes I feel like the oldest." I ranted on. Mycroft rolled his eyes but chuckled. "Stop worrying (y/n). I'm almost done with my work." The male replied. I wasn't much convinced. His work can pile up higher than the Big Ben sometimes. "Anyway. I promised Sherly that I'll pay a visit. You should visit him sometimes too." I said. "(Y/n), now is not the time. He should live his own life. The responsibility that we have doesn't concern him and he shouldn't find out about it." Mycroft stated, working on his work again. "I know that, Croft but Sherly is our family. Give him some affection too. We have to take care of him." I said softly. Mycroft's dark navy gaze met mine. "I don't have time for this. You may go." He dismissed me. I left the conversation at that. It won't help starting an argument, we'll be wasting both of our time.
The carriage ride to Backers street took a while but I finally arrived. I walked to the front door and knocked on it. Miss Hudson was the one who opened the door. "Oh (y/n). It's wonderful to see you again." The woman smiled. "Likewise. I hope my brother hasn't caused you any trouble." I said to the woman as she allowed me into the apartment. She sighed. "He still does but much less now that John is here." She replied. "That's good to hear." I stated. "Where will I be able to find my little brother?" I asked her. "He's upstairs, working on a case." Miss Hudson replied. I said my 'thank you' and went up the stairs to meet my brother. Knocking on the door, John was the one who opened it. He allowed me inside. "I'm here as I promised." I said to Sherlock. The male jumped up and as training, did his best to land a blow on me but failed. At the end I won as Sherlock laid on the floor, regaining his breath. "That was fun." He said excitedly. I smiled at him. "It was." I agreed. We took a seat on the couch. "So tell me. How are you?" I asked, catching up with him. Sherlock told me all about his recent cases and how this 'Lord of crime' interested puzzle to him. "Sounds interesting. Listen, Sherly, I want to tell you something really important." I said, changing the topic. Sherlock stopped talking and his blue eyes looked into mine. "There is this gentleman that I have been in a relationship with for about a year now. How will you react to meeting him?" I asked, starting to feel nervous. Sherlock narrowed his eye. "It depends on who this chap is." Sherlock replied. A smile tugged at the corner of my lips. "He's a sweet, kind, gentle and caring man. We deeply care for each other and he's a well respected noble." I informed him. Albert came to my mind and I couldn't help but blush.
"Is that so." Sherlock commented. "I would like to meet this man some time." He said, making me feel relieved. "Brother doesn't know about this, does he?" Sherly suddenly asked. I shook my head. "No. I'm more concerned about his reaction than yours considering the fact that he knows my lover." I said. A moment of silence fell but we changed the topic and continued chatting. John joined in on our conversation too.
By the afternoon I left Backers street and went to the cafe where Albert and I agreed to meet up. I saw the male from a distance. My carriage stopped infront of the cafe and the driver opened the door, helping me out. Albert walked over to me and held his hand out for mine. "Milady." He greeted me, kissing the knuckles of my hand. I smiled at him. "It's wonderful seeing you again, Lord Albert." I greeted back, with a gentle smile. We went inside and had a nice time together. Just the two of us with no one to bother us.
After our time the cafe. Albert took my hand in his. "I think it's time you meet my brothers." The emerald eyed man said, making me blush dark red. "W-what?..." I stuttered and blushed. Albert chuckled at my reaction. "Sherly wants to meet you too." I added softly. Albert had a soft smile on his face. "I shall meet him soon." The brunette stated, confusing me slightly. The Moriarty carriage came and he helped me in. I took my seat next to him and rested my head on his shoulder. "I'm lucky to have you Albert. I love you." I said, closing my (e/c) eyes, enjoying the moment with him. "I love you too." Albert replied, lifting my head and tugged the loose strands of my dark hair behind my ear. Albert leand down and kissed me on the lips. I didn't hesitate to kiss back. The kiss was gentle and loving. I love this man and would do anything in my power to keep him by my side.
