A/n: I have no idea what was going through my brain but I think I'll write a part 2. Enjoy!

(Y/n's) pov:
"Brother, please take me with you!" I whined, clutching the arm of my older brother. We were standing in front of the door and the only thing stopping the older (l/n) son from leaving the house was me, his younger sister. "(Y/n), I'm going out to meet a college from work. There's no reason for you to go." The (h/c) haired man sighed and turned to face me. "B-but I want to go too." I replied, giving him the puppy dog eyes. "Just let her go with you or else she'll end up following you either way." Another person made their appearance at the door. It was the eldest (l/n) son, Franklin. The two younger siblings, looking like twins, glanced at him. His long (h/c) hair was tied in a ponytail and lazily hung over his shoulder. The (e/c) eyed man held documents in his hand and still had his reading glasses on. "Alright. I'll take her with me." Caden finally gave in and I let go of his arm. "Yay!" I cheered happily and followed my older, look-alike, brother out of the door. I mentally thanked our older brother.

"Where are we going and who are we meeting?"' I asked the (h/c) haired man. Caden sighed but answered nonetheless. "We are going to a small cafe to meet, as I have said before, a college from the university. He's the new professor and I want to get to know him better." He replied and I gave him a side glance. "So in other words, you and your new buddy will talk math." I said, making Caden laugh. "What makes you say that?" Caden asked, his brow raised. "It's obvious. He's the new professor and you said a few months ago that there's a position available for a mathematician, the only position he can take. Brother, you yourself is a mathematician so to getting to know this man would make you extremely happy." I deducted. Caden laughed again and shook his head.

We arrived at the local cafe of Durham. It was a neat, nothing too fancy. "I wonder what this gentleman is like." I thought out loud. Caden chuckled and ruffled my head. "You'll find out soon enough." He replied and I looked away from him. We entered with absolute silence and then Caden led the way to two blond gentlemen with red eyes. One wore glasses and the other held a walking cane. I assessed both men as we approached them. "I apologize for being late. My sister begged me to take her with me." Caden said and I glared at him, pinching his side. "My brother is merely jesting. It's nice to meet you, Professor. My brother talks a lot about you." I greeted the taller blond without the glasses. The two blonds looked at me with surprise. "How did you know?" The same gentleman asked. "Here we go again." My brother muttered to himself. I gave them a close eyed smile. The smile was meant to tease my brother. "When you spotted us, you saw my brother first before you saw me, meaning you know my brother or have met him to be able to see him in this crowd. Your acquaintance continued to search the crowd, meaning he hasn't met Caden." I said, all too proud of myself. "That's not all, I mean that alone can't prove you're the professor. As I have mentioned before, my brother talks a lot about you. My brother has few friends and to meet a person with more or less the same interests as him, excites him. He described you as tall, short blond hair and ruby eyed, never had he ever mentioned that you had glasses. My dearest brother also left out the fact that you teach mathematics but I was able to figure that out on my own." I explained an smiled sweetly at the three men. "My name is (y/n) (l/n), by the way." I added and watched the two astonished men and my sighing brother. "This is one of the reasons I don't want to bring you with me." He mumbled to himself. 'Quite frankly, Franklin also said something similar to that.' I thought to myself.

"You have an amazing talent miss (y/n). It's a surprise that you haven't been scouted by Scotland Yard or the police yet." The blond complimented. "Thank you sir. The police did approach me but I turned them down. I don't want to be part of the police, I want to join the intelligence agency one day." I said, my eyes shone with determination burning within my eyes. "For now, I settled with making sure my two older brothers are safe." I said and my eyes darted around the room. Luckily all of the women in Durham, noble and commeners alike, knows that the two (l/n) sons are off limist unless they're able to get through me. "That's an interesting goal to reach. My older brother works for the military, I'm sure if I ask him, he'll put in a good word for you." The male smiled and my eyes lit up. "You'll really do that for a stranger?" I asked, failing to conceal my excitement. "Yes." He responded then turned to my brother. "It's quite alright that your sister is joining us. My younger brother, wanted to come along as well." He said. "Let me introduce us first." The new professor went on to say. "My name is William James Moriarty and this is my younger brother, Louis James Moriarty." William introduced themselves. "Nice to meet you. I hope we all can get along." I said with a closed eye smile.

The four of us sat around a table close to the window and chatted. I could easily start a conversation with William but the person who interested me the most was Louis, I wanted to know more about him. "Louis, do you like backing?" I suddenly asked. "I like to cook, yes." The male replied. Our older brothers continued to talk but had one ear in our conversation. "I love to bake and I want to learn more recipes. Franklin, my usual judge of my backing, is too busy with his job to taste my treats these days." I said sadly. "In fact I don't have a lot of friends to begin with." I muttered. "Why so?" Louis asked, furrowing his brows in confusing. We had the full attention of William and Caden too. "Everyone in town knows that I'm overprotective of my brothers and the women grew to dislike me just because of that and most guy friends aren't real friends." I said sighing. "Then with both of my brothers at work, I'm lonely." I said with a sad smile. The three men shared a look while I fiddled with the edge of the table cloth.

"(Y/n), why didn't you tell us?" Caden asked, concern in his eyes. "It doesn't matter now." I smiled at him. "If you don't mind, Louis is home alone most days as well." William suddenly said. "You two seem to get along great." The blond professor continued to say. "Does that mean that we're friends now?" I asked Louis, containing my excitement. Louis nodded his head. "It does." I was beaming with happiness. "My first friend." I voiced with a smile as bright as the sun.

That's how our friendship started. The two youngest siblings that are protective of there older siblings.
