A/n: hiii. I'm sorry for my absence, my school started with exams a few weeks ago.
(Y/n's) pov:
It was dark. The clouds blocked the light of the moon and the only source of light were from the dimly lit street lights. I sighed and scolded myself for staying to so late at the office.I glanced up at the towering clock of the Big Ben. The light within its four walls made it look like a mini sun. The time read a quarter past eleven. I sighed once again and took notice of how loud my footsteps sounded on the empty cobblestoned street. I felt worried that I'll attract unwanted attention.
I nearly jumped out of my skin when the light of the moon was revealed from behind the clouds. My (e/c) eyes quickly darted around the surroundings while I had the light of the moon. I saw a row of red telephone booths and far behind me, a figure loomed.
I quickened my pace, aware of my stalker. I could hear their drumming footsteps, trying to catch up with me. Terror coursed through me and I regretted not listening to Albert. I should have went home when he told me to. In the back of my mind, I knew I could take care of anyone trying to attack me but I decided to play damsel-in-destress.
I was so focuesed on running away from my stalker that I didn't look where I was running and bumped into someone. My head pounded from making contact with their head but other than that, I was fine. The person I bumped into groaned and I opended my eyes to meet his black eyes. They shone beautifully in the moonlight, that revealed itself again. "Funny running into you, isn't it?" He questioned and I rolled my eyes. Just my luck, it was Sebastian Moran.
"I like the view and wouldn't mind staying like this for a while longer but would you please get off." Moran said, with a hint of teasing, and I scrambled off of the raven haired man. "What's with the rush?" He asked and I looked behind us. The moon hid itself behind the clouds again but I could see the shape of a human standing in the shadows. Moran saw what I was looking at and knew what was going on.
Without a word, he stood up and walked with me. "Why are you coming with me, Moran?" I asked and the man smiled gently, what was unlike him. "I have to protect you." He said seriously. "Who knows if that is not one of Milverton's goons." He added even more seriously. "Thank you." I voiced and the two of us walked to my house.

"Once again, thank you Moran for walking me home." I said while unlocking the door. "This is not goodbye. I'm staying until that goon leaves." He said and I realized that my home is where they could strike too. "Moran, I'm more than capable of taking care of an attacker." I reminded him and the tall male looked away, crossing his arms. "I don't care. I'm staying." He was determined. "Besides, if I go back to the Moriarty manor now, Louis will try to kill me." He added quietly and I sighed at him while shaking my head. "You are unbelievable. Come in."

"You hungry?" I asked, disappearing into the kitchen. "Yes, at least you made it and not Louis." The black haired man said, walking into the kitchen. "Why?" I gave him a puzzled look. Moran rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Who knows if that crazy blond wouldn't try to poison me." He replied and I smiled, giggling softly. He and Louis really tends to clash a lot. "Louis will definitely try to kill you if he heard you calling him a 'crazy blond' just now." I teased and searched for ingredients to make something quick for dinner.
"Would you like 2-min noodles?" I asked, realizing that I don't have much to eat in the kitchen. "I don't care." Moran replied and walked out of the kitchen. I boiled the kettle for tea and put four packets of noodles into a silver pot before submerging it with water.
