Am I the asshole?

Angela's POV: I got to the office a little past my call time so I hurried inside as to not be any later, as I walked in I passed the kitchen and saw Keith, Damien, and Spencer talking with our newest editor Gwen, she started here about three weeks ago and she seemed pretty cool, she was funny, kind, and she had an amazing sense of style. I haven't talked to her much as she had a pretty big work load, we were a little behind on filming so I can only imagine how swamped the editors were. I dropped my stuff on my desk and looked over the call sheet for the day, it looked like Gwen and I were scheduled to be on an episode of Reddit stories with Shayne.

Gwen's POV: I was drinking a coffee in the kitchen and talking about the videos I was set to edit today, with Keith, Damien, and Spencer when I looked over my shoulder and saw Angela running in the building, I assumed she was late. I finished my coffee and chatted some more with the guys before washing my mug in the sink, saying my 'see you later's' and leaving back to my desk. On the way I saw Courtney sitting and chattering (iykyk) with Chanse, Amanda, and Arasha, Shayne sitting and talking with Noah, and Ian and Anthony planning something with poster boards on the floor, and finally Angela was looking puzzled at the call sheet. I set my phone down on my desk and walked over to talk to her.

"surprised?" I asked knowing she was wondering why I was marked down.

"A little" she replied "Why didn't you tell anyone you were switching to be in videos?" she asked with a slight smile.

Because I'm not, I'm just filling in for Amanda. She was accidentally doubled booked for Reddit stories with Shayne and moose master on the games channel." I replied, even though being on the main cast would be pretty cool I'm happy sticking to my editing.

"Still, that's pretty big. It's not every day someone goes from being an editor to being in videos, especially in a recurring series on the games channel in just three weeks."She said sounding a little impressed.

"Yeah i guess' I shrugged not knowing how big of a deal it actually was.

"I'll tell you what, why don't we got out tonight to celebrate, i'll invite everyone. We can go out to eat, get drinks, or whatever you want to do." She said with a huge smile.

"That sounds amazing actually, I've been so preoccupied recently with all the editing and working on new songs, I can't remember the last time I went out to blow of some steam with friends."

"Oh, that reminds me. I listened to your new song Remember That Night? (Remember That Night? by Sara Kays) and it was so good, you're a lyrical genius, dude." She told me clearly impressed.

"Really? I was debating on putting it out because I was nervous about the response from everyone especially the people who knew how me and my ex were together, but i'm happy I did it."

"Me too, it's really good." She replied

"Hey guys, there're ready for us on the Reddit set." Shayne said coming up to us with a smile.

"Cool, let's go." Angela said.

After a few stories we were on the last one, it was something like 'Am I the asshole for "cheating" on my girlfriend?' That one brought up a ton of old painful memories of me and Dana (the ex I wrote RTN (Remember That Night?)about), including the part where the OP talks about blatantly gas lighting their partner into believing they didn't cheat, it stung deep but I never said anything about it and when it was over we all gave our opinions and the verdict (asshole), I tried to say as little as possible during that time because the wounds were still a little bit sore. 

Angela's POV: After the video was over Shayne and I stayed sat on the couches talking for another five minutes about the night Gwen and I planned before going to the games set, meanwhile Gwen left almost immediately I silently hoped that last story didn't trigger her too much, but I knew they would after listening to her song last night. When shayne and I got to the games set Gwen was already sitting there scrolling through her phone lost in thought. When she finally looked up the video was about to start, we were filming a D&D video (Gwen is replacing Amanda in this series), and when it was over once again Gwen left almost immediately. 

Gwen's POV: I felt better after D&D but I still wanted to be alone for a few, so after we wrapped I went straight for my desk to put in my earbuds and continue my editing until lunch. Angela has the desk across from mine so being alone wasn't really an option once she was done filming for the day, I didn't mind her company though, in fact I really liked it when she was around.
