Are you okay?

Gwen's POV: After Dana stormed out Angela sat with me on the bench in the kitchen and just held me while I cried on her shoulder, rubbing calming shapes on my back. After a while of crying I dried my eyes, looked up at her and spoke up. 

"You didn't have to tell Dana you were my girlfriend, especially in front of everyone, I know how uncomfortable that must've made you. But for what it's worth I'm glad you did it." I told her honestly, smiling at the thought of people knowing about us.  

"I wasn't uncomfortable at all, in fact I kind if liked being known as you girlfriend." She blushed a little as she spoke which I thought was really cute. I stared at her slightly shocked for a moment before opening my mouth.

"Me neither, in fact I liked the group knowing about us, same as you." I said making her blush a little bit. Personally, I didn't care if everyone knew or if no one knew; to me it only mattered how Angela felt about it because I was just happy being with her. 

After the day was over I went to talk to Ian about taking tomorrow off, I apologized for the short notice but he completely understood it and sent me home, and I left to get some much needed relaxation during my time off; and when I woke up the next morning I showered and spent all day writing new material down. It may sound weird to some but I take everything that's happened to me in my lifetime and repurpose it to tell stories through my music, and to hopefully reach out to anyone who may be experiencing the same pain I did; to me these are more than just songs, to me they're my stories of how I survived. And when I went back to work the following day everything was okay again, because I survived. 

I survived when I was dating Dana, I survived when my family disowned me, I survived leaving everything I knew back home and making the move to L.A, I survived living off of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cup o' noodles because I couldn't afford anything else, I survived my first day working at Smosh, and I survived Dana's outburst in front of my friends, I'm a fighter but most importantly, I'm a survivor.

Small a/n: Hello my darlings, I just wanted to apologize about this chapter being so short, I've mentioned it before but I'm have intense writer's block so some chapters will feel like fillers but I promise they're not, I'm just having a hard time putting the story to words. There are only four chapters left to go after this so I'm working my ass off to make sure you're reading a story that keeps you entertained.Please keep reading love ya.
