You held the phone up to your ear. "What?" You questioned into it. There was muffled static sound before a voice answered.

"Hey, y/n. What's happening." You heard the voice say as Your eyes lid up. That was another voice you recognized. "Robin?" You questioned.

"It's difficult to get out, right?" He asked. Nothing felt real to you at the moment. It felt like a big wave of Derealization.
"Yeah. Kinda." You softly responded. You could hear his quiet breathing through the phone.

"I was walking to the store to get snacks for me and finns sleepover and then next thing you know, I'm here." Robin softly said. You could hear the sadness in his voice as he spoke and that made you even more sad about this whole situation.

"I'm so sorry, robin. If only you just stayed home like your mom insisted." You replied as your grip on the phone tightened. You wanted to cry so bad but at this point you just couldn't.
"Don't cry. It's not your fault, y/n/n." He said.

"I'm not." You replied. "You want to. I can see that."robin said. You made a confused look as you glanced at Vance. "You can?" You asked and He hummed in response. "We've all been with you. Especially Bruce. He doesn't wanna leave you behind."

"Have you really?" You ask as Vance tapped your shoulder. You look over at him and he made a questionable gesture. You shrugged at him and looked away again. "Yeah, family doesn't leave each other behind." Robin said. Even thought you weren't actually related in any way you still saw him as your little brother. So you included him as your family.

"My dad didn't leave his buddies behind when he went to 'Nam. That's why he didn't come home And I'm not coming home, either." Robin said. You knew this would be hard for finney when he would find out about Robin. You didn't wanna see how he would react.

"And I'm not going to leave you behind. You have Vance now and even thought I hate that puto he's your only way out." He said. You looked over at Vance again and he as just standing there. He was just waiting for you to at least tell him who it was and what they were saying.

"So you two have to be ready. This is the day... hes thinking about killing you two, but you're first y/n. Since you're weaker. "Robin said. You instantly got this nervous sick feeling. You weren't so sure about how strong you were at the moment.

"Will I hear from you again?" You asked. "This was the last call, y/n."Robin said. You were gonna be able to hear his voice again or his hilarious jokes he would make about everything. You were really gonna miss all that and especially him.

"Stay alive for Finn. He loves you more than anything. I don't think he could live without you." He said making you softly smile. "I will. Bye, Robin." You whispered. "Bye, y/n." The line went dead after that.

You hooked the phone back into its place and you slowly turned around to look at Vance's. "was it Bruce?" He asked. "No. It was Robin."  You answered. "The grabbers thinking about killing us both today. He said we have to be ready." Vance slightly nodded as he looked down at the ground. "We need a plan then."
