Chapter 4: The Twilight Nun

A few days after Dohnaseek attacked Issei, the newly revived devil was slowly adjusting to his new life. He'd begun handling requests and had already met all of the other members of Rias's peerage. This strange world he'd been thrown into was slowly starting to make sense.
As Issei wandered around the city, he ended up coming across the fountain where he'd died once and nearly died again. Man, I just keep coming back here... why...? he wondered. As he pondered recent events, he heard a girl cry out and the sound of someone falling to the ground behind him. He turned. A pretty blonde girl in a nun's outfit was sitting on the ground, giving Issei a perfect view of her underwear. Oh, that's what I'm talkin' about! Smoking hot chick, smoking hot panty shot! he thought to himself, excited. Then he realized what he should do instead. "Or, I could act like a gentleman," he muttered before rushing towards the girl, holding out his hand to help her up. "Hey there, are you all right?" he asked.
The girl took his hand. "Oh- yeah, I'm okay, really," she stammered. She got to her feet and looked up at Issei, the veil on her head blowing off in the wind.
Issei thought to himself, ...Erection...
The blonde muttered, "Uh... thanks." Issei quickly let go of her hand.
"Uh, sorry about that!" he said. The girl's veil began to blow away. "Uh-oh!" He ran after it, picking it up. Jackpot! This girl is totally my type! he thought happily, handing the girl her veil. Blonde and busty gets me lusty!
"That was very sweet of you," the girl said, putting her veil back on her head.
"Please, it was nothing!" Issei assured her before thinking, Gotta keep this conversation going! Let's see... what can I talk about? Aloud, he asked, "Hey, what do you say? The weather sure is nice out here, yeah?" I just sounded like my grandmother! he mentally chided himself.
"Um..." the girl began, getting Issei's attention. "I seem to be a bit lost, do you think you could help me out?" she asked, blushing and quietly giggling.
From behind a tree, Zach snickered, too quiet for either of the two to hear. These two are both total goobers.
Zach stepped out from behind the tree and following Issei and Asia as they began to walk away, staying a few meters away to avoid being noticed.

BGM: Persona 5 - Break it Down

"So, are you a tourist?" Issei asked.
Asia replied, "Oh, not at all. As a matter of fact, I was recently assigned to serve the church in this town."
"Right, you're a nun, then," Issei realized. "Guess that explains your uniform."
"I'm so glad I ran into someone kind like you. I guess someone is looking out for me, huh?" Asia wondered aloud, smiling and blushing.
Zach suppressed a laugh as he listened to the conversation. You'd be surprised, Asia.
"Yeah..." Issei chuckled. He looked at the cross pendant on Asia's necklace, immediately getting a feeling of severe unease and looking away.
"Is everything okay?" Asia asked, concerned.
"Oh yeah, it's all good," Issei lied. What in the heck was that? As they walked, they began to hear the sound of a young boy crying. Asia began to run towards the sound. "Hey, wait a minute!" Issei protested before following her.
Asia knelt next to the boy, who'd scraped his knee. "A big boy like you shouldn't be crying over a small scrape like that. You're going to be fine," she promised. A pair of silver rings appeared on her hands, one on each middle finger. They began glowing with green light and the boy's scrape quickly disappeared.
"Whoa, she healed him," Issei realized. He felt a pang of pain in his left hand, momentarily gripping it with the right. Dude, freakin' weird... My left hand just totally wigged out! he thought.
That's incredible. With power like that... Zach thought, intrigued.
"There, you see? There's no reason for you to cry at all!" Asia said to the boy, smiling. "You're just fine." She turned to Issei. "All done now, sorry." She stuck her tongue out cutely.

BGM: Persona 5 - Confession Secret (Piano)

I wonder what's going on with my body... It's gotta mean something, Issei thought.
"You must be surprised," Asia guessed. "I promise, I can explain."
"Uh- no, not at all!" Issei said with a smile. "That sure is a pretty nifty power you've got there, though."
"Thank you, I consider it to be a gift and a blessing. Truly... it's wonderful..." Asia explained, a distant look on her face. She perked up when she noticed where they were. "Hey, there it is!" she exclaimed, seeing the church.
"Oh, yeah. That's the church all right. The only one in town," Issei confirmed.
"Thank goodness I found it."
Issei suddenly felt another spike of unease. "Y'know, it's weird. I've never seen anyone up there, not a single person. Always figured it was abandoned."
"Let me thank you properly. Would it be a problem for you to come inside with me?" Asia asked.
There are a number of ways to interpret that, Asia... Zach thought. Especially with that guy.
"Uh- I can't. The thing is, I have somewhere to be..." Issei lied shakily.
Asia looked disappointed. "Oh, that's okay." She quickly perked up, saying, "Guess I should go too. It was sweet of you to help me find my way. My name's Asia Argento."
"My name's Issei Hyoudou. You are very welcome." Issei answered with a shaky smile.
"Meeting you here was a blessing. And I know for sure it's one I won't forget. I hope we see each other again," Asia said, returning the smile.
Issei blushed. "Yeah, me too."
"If you're ever bored and in the neighborhood, come by and visit me at the church," Asia offered. "That's where I'll be."
"Uh... sounds awesome. I'll see you soon," Issei lied. "Have a good one." He began walking away.
"Thanks! You have a good one too!" Asia replied.
Issei turned. She's probably the nicest girl I've ever met, he thought as he watched her wave goodbye.
Well, she's on her way up, Zach thought. That's my job done. Shame they'll probably never see each other again.
