Chapter 11: Heaven's Blades

This chapter marks the beginning of Volume III: Holy Vengeance.

Kuoh Academy, Classroom 2-B (BGM: Persona 5 - Everyday Days)

Issei sat in his classroom, staring out the window at the drizzling rain. Other students were sitting or standing in groups, spreading the latest gossip or talking about a variety of subjects. Zach was a couple of desks away, leaned back in his chair with his eyes closed and his earbuds in. What appeared to be a newly bought pair of sunglasses- mirrored aviators with dark blue lenses- rested on the desk in front of him. Asia was being fed compliments by some of the other girls in their class, as always. As Issei watched the rain, he recalled the morning's events.

Earlier that morning... (BGM: Persona 5 - My Homie)

Issei woke up to find none other than Rias sleeping next to him, totally naked. What the hell?! he thought. What's Rias doing here? Well, I may as well make the most of it... He reached out to grab Rias's breasts but stopped abruptly when he noticed her waking up.
Rias smiled. "Issei, good morning."
"Y-yeah, totally good morning," Issei stuttered. "Why are you in bed with me, again?"
"I'm sorry," she apologized. "By the time I arrived, you'd already gone to sleep. I decided to just let myself in."
Issei's gaze slowly moved back down to Rias's chest. "That's not the main issue I've got- boobs. I mean-"
"Oh, I couldn't help myself," Rias admitted. "Issei, we've still got some time." She moved her body to be on top of Issei rather than next to him. "Do you think something sexy would deepen communications with my servant?" She kissed his forehead.
Issei blushed. "Well, I'm a dude, so I agree with that very much."
"You wanna come at me, then?" Rias offered. "I'm willing to do anything for you as long as it makes you happy."
"A-anything?!" Issei began imagining all the things he and Rias could do together. So much cool shit fits into one little anything! "Let's do this!"
They were interrupted by a knock on the door. "Are you up yet, Issei? It's almost time to start morning training!" Asia called from the other side.
"A-Asia!" Issei yelled back.
"Shoot, I completely forgot about the morning training." Rias sat up straight.
"Issei, are you awake?" Asia asked.
"Y-yeah, just a second!" Issei answered, scrambling to get up.
"Asia, do you mind waiting a moment?" Rias asked. "Issei and I need to get ready, we're both still in bed."
Asia opened the door to find Issei and Rias in bed, the latter with nothing on.
"Morning, Asia, sleep okay?" Issei scratched the back of his head, an awkward smile on his face. This is bad...
"I hope you're doing well today," Rias added.
Issei noticed the look on Asia's face. "Asia, it's not what it looks like! I promise!"
"W-whatever, I'm taking off my clothes too!" Asia declared, pulling off her shirt and entering the room. "I swear, I won't be left out anymore!"

Present Time (BGM: Persona 5 - Everyday Days)

"Ever since all that crap went down with Riser, Rias has been way nicer to me," Issei muttered. "But every time that happens, Asia gets weird about it." He smiled lecherously, thinking of the possible outcomes had Asia not interfered.
"Yo, Issei, whatcha smilin' like a bitch about?" Matsuda asked, pulling on Issei's ear.
"The hell's your problem?!" Issei swatted his hand away, sitting up.
"There are some rather odd rumors about you lately, so you might want to be more careful," said Motohama.
"What rumors?" Issei asked, his nervousness increasing.
"Well..." Motohama adjusted his glasses. "That you're messing around with super hot girls and following a path of certain evil!"
"Yeah, for real!" Matsuda agreed. "And, like, uh... you're using Rias and Akeno's secrets as blackmail for some nasty shit!"
"On top of that," Motohama continued, "you're nothing more than a villain! One who's even turned his perverted eye to the school mascot, Koneko Toujou! You devoured her prepubescent body like a wild beast!"
At this point, Zach's attention was turned to the conversation, as they'd gotten loud enough to break through his earbuds' noise cancelling, and he silently crept up behind Matsuda and Motohama as he put his earbuds in their case.
