Percy's POV

I was running through the halls of the castle. Sprinting past every curve and turn that I've grown to love. I love my home mommy says I'ma special boy. That I was a gift sent from a god whatever that means. Dad and Mother are usually busy with business with things outside of the castle, so I usually play with mommy. I haven't been able to go outside of the castle because dad said it is a scary place. I love playing hide and seek with mommy because I always beat her. I'm just the best at hide and seek ever.

I loved mommy dad and mom so much! Even if dad was always stuck doing his work and mom always helping him or going of to what she says gardening whatever that is. So I would always want to play mommy. Today she said we could play my favorite game! So I started running to go hide. I found myself running around the castle trying to find a hiding spot when I came across a big door. It looked really big and it was a poopy color. I remembered dad telling me to never go past this door.

Flashback

Hades POV

"Hey dad!" Shouted my little boy Percy who came up running from behind me. He jumped or at least tried to jump on my back he's still too short for that without my help. He ended up falling on his butt.

I looked at him with a smile on my face, "Hello my little διάβολος (diávolos or devil in English) what can I do for you?" I asked him.

"Dadddddd why can't I go past the big poopy door I wanna go outside and explore I am sick of being in this place every minute of every day I wanna go outside", He whined.

I smiled amused at how eager he was to explore. "Percy my boy it's not a fun place outside of the castle. Mommy, mom and I all think it is best for you just for a bit longer to not go outside. Eventually you can all the time just for now please don't go outside", I told him.

"Okie, I won't until you allow me to but I can't waitttttt to go outside I'm so excited!" With that I can see him run off back into the halls most likely going to see one of my wives. (Maria is like an unofficial wife it's a polygamous relationship like I said). So I went to return to my office.

Flashback end

I wonder if dad thinks I'm old enough now I mean it's been 3 months i totally am! Hehe mommy will never find me if I go hide outside. I pushed on the big door expecting it to be hard but it was not. I also expected a bright light but all I saw kind of light maroonish sky. I ran across the bridge and past this realllly big sleeping dog. I think it was dad's dog cerberie or something like that. He said his dog was a really rare breed and because if that it was really big.

I ran around wondering eventually I found this really pretty door. It was white and had gold on it. I think it would be a great spot to hide from mommy she'll never find me this will be my best win evarrrr! I pushed really hard on the door, my legs even went into the dirt. It finally moved and I got through. It was extremely pretty this place is so pretty,  seems so peaceful and the sky is so blue it had a field of grass with plenty of flowers. However they seemed different from the ones Mom described to me.  Some were short and red, yellow and tall, some even blue!

I started running trying to find a place to hide. I ran so much eventually my legs started to get weak. What was even worse was I could not see the door earlier I don't know where I am. Dad was right I should not of went out of the castle. I was about to cry when I big man came up to me. He wore this helmet that looked similar to that of the warrior people in our home that would occasionally come by. He also had this weird thing on his chest it looked like metal with circles where his chest was. Finally he wore a kind of leather skirt thingy and looked like exposed shoes that showed parts of his foot.

The big man looked at me and spoke to me in a surprisingly nice voice, "Hey kid are you lost?" I didn't know what to say I haven't talked to people outside of mommy, dad and mom.

"U-um I think so I don't know where the door I came through is". I answered him with a small stutter.

"Door?" He asked me, his face seemed to move in a way that looked confusing. His eyes look like he was thinking about something.

"Yes, the door I opened to get in here, I'm lost I was at dad's castle. I ran from playing hide and seek with mommy and opened the door dad told me now to. I ran outside and eventually I found this white door which I opened now I'm here and I don't know where to go". I responded.

"Interesting..." he said. I heard him whisper "so he's not dead and he came here from there". Whatever that means. I just want to go back to the castle and see dad mom and mommy again.

Suddenly I heard his voice ,"If you would like I can bring you back to the door you came from I know my way around here". He told me.

" If you could I really want to go home I don't like being lost it's no fun". I responded eagerly.

He told me to follow him. He talked to me about how many people are here they're just very far away and how we are kind of neighbors meaning we live close to each other. After what felt like years. I saw the door.

I started sprinting to it yelling, "thank you so much sir!" I can't wait to go back home.

I reached the door trying to push it open. It swung open and then I fell on my face. After getting up I could see my home in the distance running there as fast as I could. I past the big dog still sleeping. Eventually I found the big poppy door and opened it.

As soon as I opened it mommy was running towards me. "PERSEUS ACHILLES JACKSON!" She screamed, "where have you been?" At that exact point dad and mom came in. Both asking similar questions.

I told them of how I sort of left the palace. They especially dad were not happy at all. Dad was very upset saying I was still not ready for the outside world and then scolded me about how I needed pot listen to them.

"Dad I'm sorry, you were right. It was really boring however a man helped me find my way back". I told him then described what he looked like and how he acted.

"Ah, my old friend. Son you met an old friend of mine that I knew years ago. I think it has been long enough and this incident was partially my fault son it's time for you to learn about your heritage. The gods exist...". Dad informed me in a more serious tone than how he previously responded.

One thing he said stuck in my head.

The gods exist....

Hey guys Jayden back. Sorry this chapter took way longer than expected I had ideas but I didn't know how to execute them so that took a lot of time. As well as I've been very busy with track and I'm talking to this girl so that's been a complete change of pattern. Anyways though we hid 169 views as of checking thank you do much we doubled what we hit last time. I truly can't explain how much this means to me. Thank you to the people that voted my chapters and hopefully we get more comments I am always looking forward to hearing feedback. I have a track meet tomorrow and plenty of tests in the near future so I'm not a 100% sure when I will have time to write another chapter but I promise I won't be gone for long. I will edit this chapter when I have time maybe add a few bits and make it better grammatically. Many thanks to @vengerpov for helping me out with ideas and just being the greatest mate I could ask for. Hope you all enjoyed.
