Lake was sitting on the edge of the stage, scrolling through Tik Tok on her phone looking at Anime cosplay videos. Until her phone buzzed and a notification popped up on the screen saying that Bora was video calling her, she pressed the accept button and looked at Bora's face on her screen. "Hey, Bora! Whatcha doin'?" Lake smiled. "Nothing really, just chilling at The LaBORAtory editing some vlogs I made recently." Bora replied. "Oh, that's cool!" Lake exclaimed. "I assume that you remember why I called..." Bora commented. Lake nodded. "Yeah, we gotta figure out this incident..." She then got up and walked around the carnival, holding up her phone so that Bora could see her face. "But we gotta remember that it's only just a theory." She continued. "Right. So, of course, we suspect that River is the killer." Bora was talking while editing the vlog, she could tell because of the soft clicking noises coming from the mouse. "Yeah, but the way that he, or whoever else we may suspect, committed the murder. How did the car crash work? I mean, if it was that fatal, then he should be dead, too." Lake spoke. "Unless he used some heavy object to push the gas pedal down." Bora claimed. Lake widened her eyes. "Dang, you're right. But he also had to be far enough for the car to get enough speed for such a deadly crash force." She got into her science nerd phase. "Cause you know the whole 'force equals mass times acceleration' thing.." She trailed off. "Yeah, I know." Bora stopped walking.
"But I don't get it, why would he kill us?" He questioned. "I dunno. Maybe he didn't know that you guys were a band that was on their way to yet another on-stage performance." Lake gave a tiny smile. "Yeah, you're right. But, do you think he's acting differently because of something else?" Bora asked. Then, Lake stopped walking. "Well, he always keeps looking at the animatronics. So...." Lake's expression changed from realization as she stood in silence. If River was the killer, and he found out that the animatronics can walk around and talk... Then... "Oh no.." She said quickly. "What? What's happening?" Bora asked with concern. "If he really did kill them, and noticed them. There's a chance that he may try to kill them again!" Lake exclaimed, almost tearing up. "Oh god, well, I can try asking the boss if I can volunteer to be on the night shift." Bora said as he walked back to his computer, to continue editing the vlog, of course. "What, why?" Lake asked. "To help you protect them, obviously!" Bora exclaimed with a "duh!" expression. "Oh, right." Lake laughed awkwardly. "Good, I may need all the help I could get." She smiled as she looked back at the animatronics. "Okay, well. I should go to bed. Get some sleep to help me for the morning shift, y'know." Bora said after he yawned. "Cool, see ya later then." Lake waved him goodbye. "Yeah, see ya." Bora smiled as he stopped the video call. Lake put her phone in her uniform's pocket and walked to the animatronics. "Well, I did all I needed to do for tonight. So, I'm gonna leave early." Lake turned around to walk away then she stopped and looked back at them. "Make sure you're on your best behavior, alright?" Lake laughed. The Tally Hall men nodded their heads and agreed at the same time. "Alright then, see you later." Lake said to them as she left the carnival to head home.
