Lake was sitting on the concrete ground in front of the stage, pondering about the awkward events with River. Every time she tried to talk to him, he never replied to anything she said during Bora's shift; he was mostly watching Bora's every move like there was something off about him. It was the same during the times she texted him and they were both off-work, he would always reply with "I'm busy right now." or "I'm trying to sleep."
"Who would need to sleep at 3 pm? That's way too early to go to sleep," She thought.

And the more she went back to that, the heavier the weight of suspicion grew on her shoulders. She closed her eyes for a moment, almost ready to fall asleep on the job again until the gate creaked open and she felt fear kicking adrenaline into her as she tightened the muscles of her body; only to see Bora enter the carnival. "OH MY GOD, DO NOT DO THAT AGAIN!" Lake yelled at him as she loosened her tight posture. Bora raised his hands apologetically as he walked up to her. "Sorry about that." Lake smiled. "You should be." She then asked him. "Hey, do you have any idea what River's up to?" Bora shrugged. "Honestly, I have no idea. From the looks of this morning, I would say he was trying to talk to me more than he was talking to you. Like he has a gut feeling that something's going on with me." Lake was confused, and a little concerned. "Is there something going on with you?" Lake asked with the same tone as her expression.

"No! Yes! Maybe?" Bora tried to lie, but eventually, he sighed and sat down next to her. "You wanna know why I try my hardest to be with these guys every day and sometimes maybe visit once or twice a night?" Lake nodded her head. "Tell me everything." Bora looked back at the animatronics. "I was the only one who survived that crash."
(A/N: ANOTHER FLASHBACK!!!)

B: "Guys?...."

B: "Zubin?...Joe?"

B: "Andrew! Ross! Rob! Are you okay?"

B: "Oh, there they are! HELP! PLEASE HELP!"

"I dunno how I survived it. I just did. Eventually, the ambulance took us to the hospital. I remembered that day like it was yesterday when the doctor entered and said those words, it still hurts me to this very day." Bora looked down.

"So, the other people in the car with you? Are they your brothers? Your cousins or-?"

B: "They're my friends, sir. Please tell me they're okay..."

B: "..."

"I wish I could, but..."

"B: ..."

" I can't say it any other way. You're the only one that survived. Your friends won't live to see another day, I'm sorry..."

B: "No...PLEASE! TELL ME IT'S A JOKE!"

"About five weeks later after I healed, something unbelievable happened."

"𝒷𝑜𝓇𝒶, 𝓌𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓊𝓅..."

B: "Huh? Who is that?"

"𝒻𝑜𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓌 𝓂𝑒..."

B: "Uh, okay?"

"Some kind of magical ghost was talking to me, it didn't tell me what it was. It just told me to follow it, and I blindly followed it. I didn't know what it was leading me to. But once I figured it out, when it took Zubin's soul. I tried to decline and deny that this was happening."

B: "No, no, no, no, no! What are you doing?"

"𝒾 𝒶𝓂 𝓉𝓇𝓎𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝓈𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓂, 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉?"
