【Going smoothly~】

Orchid's POV: 

The first part of the plan was easy... The second,  not so much. More so to convince the judges that I did not have a mental illness.  Ritz was very insistent with the idea that they take me to a mental asylum instead of prison. He brought several witnesses to the trial to corroborate that idea. Some friends, my parents... But hey, a psychologist can't diagnose me with anything if I knock them out before they talk to me, right? A drastic measure, but I know that being in love is not a problem.

 In short, with my infallible strategy, I have been able to receive my sentence (or blessing) in just two weeks. 10 years, 10 whole years sharing living space with my dear Velvet~

 I jump with happiness on the spot, I can't contain my excitement while I wait for the bus to take me to her. I have my gaze fixed on the horizon, waiting for the arrival of the vehicle. 

"You look the same as when we were kids and went on a trip to the zoo..." Says Kidritz, who has accompanied me to say goodbye. "...do you remember?" 

"Of course I remember, but this has no comparison!" I respond with excitement in my voice, without taking my eyes off the road. "I'm going to see a GODDESS, not cute animals..."

 "The thing about you not going to see animals is... debatable" he grabs me by the shoulder, and I turn my head to look at him. "That's where all the scum ends up, Orchid..."

 "But Veneer is your friend, and he's there-"

 "All the scum. I'm afraid that they'll do something to you, and that it will be my fault for not stopping you from ending up there..." 

I pat him on the back. "It's not your fault. It's just that the power of love conquers everything!"

 "Yes, like the power of the punch you gave the judge to secure your sentence, right?"

 "Even bigger!" 

He just sighs, and looks at me exasperated. It's true that he did everything he could to prevent me from going to prison, but at the end of the day it's my life, I can make my own decisions. 

"Orchid, please think about this. Haven't you thought about what you will do if 'your plan' fails?" 

I tilt my head, analyzing his question. "What do you mean?"

 "If Velvet doesn't want to be with you, which is what will most likely happen because she doesn't know you, what will you do?"

 Those words echo in my head, and I take a few seconds to respond. "...Well, the same as always, watch her from afar. It was easy to force open the window of her house, I don't think it will be a problem to sneak into her room, heh heh..." 

Ritz just looks at me out of the corner of his eye and gulps, it always makes him uncomfortable when I tell him these things. "Are you sure you don't need a psychologist...?"

"Absolutely!" 

I squeal with excitement when from the corner of my eye I can see how the bus has finally arrived. I give my friend a big hug and sprint into the vehicle dragging my suitcase. I sit in an empty space and look out the window while the driver begins the journey. 

"Bye Ritz! I'll invite you to our wedding!!" I shout happily. 

He waves goodbye to me with a smile, which fades as soon as I get far away. I don't know why he's so sad, if he knows I'm going out of my own free will... I'm sure it's because he's going to have to pay rent alone!

 I close the window and look around. I am the youngest girl on the bus. It feels weird, in Mount Rageous it's difficult to see old people. Tall, muscular, with scars and weird tattoos... looking so moody. Poor things!

 I poke my head out of the back seat, and the eyes of two of my future mates stare at me. 

"What do you want?" One of them tells me with a raspy voice. 

"Do you want to learn how to knit a scarf with your fingers?" I ask them, while I take out some brightly colored yarn balls from the pockets of my jacket.

In the end the trip was very fun. I have met many of my future mates! Robert and Loren learned to knit so quickly! And Gerald and I even made matching scarves! Kidritz was totally wrong when he said that criminals were animals. Well, okay, at least half of the friends I've made in the last few hours have critically injured or killed someone....But I've hospitalized two people, so I can't have very high standards!

 Upon finally arriving at our destination, I say goodbye to my new friends and am accompanied by two guards inside the institution. It's quite... dull, compared to Mount Rageous, of course. There are no pretty lights, no music, no trendy things... Just a gray block with scattered windows, with the entire perimeter covered by very high walls. Well, the important thing is not how the outside looks... It's who is inside~

 The guards explain to me in detail how things work here, they give me my orange uniform, my room... But I haven't been listening to them, I'm too busy making my mental script for when I meet my Velvet, it has to be perfect!

 After all that, they finally let me go to the cafeteria, since it's time for lunch. Time flies so quickly when you're in love~

 I look at all the tables, the dining room is huge and there is a lot of bustle, it seems almost impossible to discern a single person among such a crowd...but I don't give up! I walk around the area for a good 20 minutes, many look at me weirded out, but I don't stop.For an instant, almost by fate, I am able to get a glimpse of a familiar vibrant green color in someone's hair. I stop in my tracks, staring at him. He turns to speak to the person sitting next to him, allowing me to take a look at his face. I almost pass out at the moment of excitement... It's Veneer!

 Well, he's almost unrecognisable, he's disheveled and he's not wearing any makeup... I'd say he looks ugly, but I can't insult my future brother-in-law... 

But that is not important! It is a natural law that where Veneer is, Velvet will be and vice versa. So I hurriedly run to his table, it's my chance! 

The plan is going smoothly~
