As I wrote in my journal about my thoughts on love and hate, I took a deep breath of the fresh air i was taking in. I love nature, I know that sounds weird usually black people say they hate natural because they don't like the climate change or the bugs but I do my best thinking when i'm in nature.

The longer I was outside the more i couldn't hear anything around me other than the wind blowing warm air against my golden brown skin. I guess I was so zoned out I didn't notice my cousin Blaze came and sat down next to me on the blanket I laid out so I wouldn't feel the grass against my thick thighs.

"Your only teenager I know that likes spending their free time outside writing about whatever" he said

"Well I'm not like everyone else" I said, closing my journal to make eye contact with Blaze ocean blue eyes. Gosh I'm still trying to figure out how me and him are the only ones in our family that doesn't have chocolate brown eyes.

"Aye Jade eyes" Blaze said, snapping his fingers in front of my jade green eyes.

"My bad! What were you saying?" I asked him

"I was saying how Blooda throwing a party and we going later on" He said, with his bright pearl white smile that's he's famous for because it always gets him whatever he wants.

"What no! You know Blooda hates me and so does your annoying ass girlfriend" I said

"Molly don't hate you she's just not a fan of nobody" he said, still having that same stupid smile on his face

I swear he's trying his hardest to get me to go to this dumb party but I don't know why he doesn't take Molly I mean it is her brother party.

"Yes she does so I'm not going just to hear her smart mouth make a comment about me because she hates the fact I'm in your life" I said

"Look I'm taking you so you can have fun so don't worry about Molly. I'll have her meet me there if that makes you feel better" he said

"And what about Blooda? You know he literally hates my guts" I said

"Your going with me so he's not start shit. Just have fun and be ready by six" he said, standing up before heading back inside.

Blazes has this theory that I'm gonna be a cat lady when I get older since I don't do much now so he's been trying his best to make me be extrovert.

He takes me to a few parties every once and awhile to make sure I'm "having fun" his words exactly. I grab my phone from my side and look at the time.

"Great it's already 4" I said to myself while rolling my eyes looking between my phone and Blazes who was leaning against the house looking at me.

If ima gonna go I have to start getting ready now because when I do pop out I like to look like I actually tried on my appearance.

I grab everything then walked back inside the house see everything perfectly placed. I think Blaze got OED or something because he's very particular on where everything goes.
