Above a grim forest, the murk and its inhabitants cease life from the fullest. The flowers that once bloom atop its shade wilt and the wasps now sit on its leaves and branches instead of butterflies and bees. A glinting speck of gold floats unnoticed even by the willowy worm-headed monsters and the mosquitoes searching for their next meal. This glint of light went through a dilapidated window frame of what was once known as a church. The church seemed to be dying without its rooftop to cloak itself from the moist of the mist and west wall has been breached. It slowly fell apart within; its benches were sawed off, some skeletons of scholars in blue have been rotting there for quite some time and a sign that says, "A half to Heresy" is found atop this unknown, burnt corpse tied to a wooden stake filled with burnt wood at the bottom. This is where this speck of light rested itself. On the palm of the hand of a burnt corpse. The light dissolved as it influenced its power over the burnt body. "Aghh?!" Then suddenly awoken, she inspects her hands first – clean in every stroke of her skin as if she was somehow reborn or worse, reincarnated. The touch of rain drops also scared her and when she opened her eyes again, there was nothing but the roofless sky. She began to calm herself when she remembered to see the tightly woven bond of her slain students sitting next to the ruined wall. "How am I? How is it I–?" She stuttered in wonder and with ease, she pulled the cords binding her hands to the wooden post.
She let herself loose, saying these words aloud, "Hah?! And they think they could bring an era that satisfies? Look what their petty notion has become. They think themselves wiser than Kyira, the benevolent?" She chuckled to herself before laying her hands on the dead students that were expended. "I am indebted to you but I must see to the cause," She allowed her veins to sense her feet by rubbing it on the overgrowth of the stone tiles then started by walking. She hovered over the periphery of broken glass. Finally, she feels connected with the forces of nature and the great above and with blood tingling through her toes. She dances in the church, gorging herself in her restoration. A snap of a twig was heard. Kyira places her hand forth then unleashed a spell of comet azure but in a large, wavy manner. When she finishes casting her power upon it, the creature was obliterated – with its legs unmoved. But the width of her power happened to damage the entrance wall of the church. The gem in her hand was smoking. Kyira prepared to tread the path she chose for the good of the Land Between.
