"This is for me? Are you sure?" I took a glance at the fancy hair clip on his palm. He nodded abruptly, pulling my hand and placed the hair clip in it, wrapping my fingers to keep it.
"Yep. It looks good on you, so why not you just have it." Looking upon Jay, I couldn't seem to take off the smile on my face. He's being so nice and sweet. How unexpected of him. After a few minutes mingling around the store, I put on the hairclip on my hair before walking out back to the street.
"Hey uhm. Thanks a lot.. for the clip and stuff," I mumbled ankwardly. I don't know why I feel so girly out of a sudden. Or maybe it's just me.
"Nah, it's nothing. Too bad I didn't buy anything for my mom though, but at least I bought something." He gave a soft grin while rubbing his nape before continuing.
"-So.. see you tomorrow? Hopefully we can be colleagues. Heh." I curved a small smile in return, before taking a few steps away from him.
"Yeah, sure. So.. See you tomorrow." He too, taking a few steps away with his palm out waving goodbye.
"Tomorrow." I chuckled before turning around and walked the opposite way.
Hopefully.
