"McDonald's?"
-"Nah. Too crowded."
"KFC?"
-"Nah. Fried chicken smell everywhere. I can't stand it. It's making me hungry."
"Subway?"
-"Hell no."
"Then what kind of job do you want? You're still a kid. Ask dad for some cash, don't bother working and go on studying." My elder brother, Kevin, smugged, then continously nagging at me.
"Get a life, Jay. Think carefully. Quickly think of something. You need a job asap. Asap. A-s-a-p-"
Did he just spelled out the word for me?
Seriously?
"Bro, just quit it. I'll think of something soon. For now, let me just chill and relax and-"
"And what? Wait till you're eighty one and then you'll get yourself a job? Are you kidding me?" He cut my sentence half way through, with his snickering smirk plastered on his face.
I closed my eyes and shut my ears out.
'Ignore, ignore, ignore.' Those words was kept on repeat.
I tried to imagine myself in a calm state and mentally pushed my brother's excessively nagging away. Unfortunately, he didn't stop nagging.
"Ugh bro, please stop. Say a word and I'll- uh. Hit you." I snorted out loud and grab a comic book at the shelf nearby to read.
"Geez. Try me if you dare." He rolled his eyes in annoyancy.
"Urgh." I slapped his right cheek lightly. Done.
"Awww. Only that? Is that the only thing that the so-called 'Mighty Jason' can do? Aw my brother is so gay."
"Dude, please. At least I didn't kiss a guy like what you did-"
I laughed. Comfortably changing the subject, I brought out my brother's dirty past. There's tons of them; like making out with a guy.. and etc. Too many to mention.
"Shut up. I didn't kiss him. He's the one who kissed me. Like obviously, I am basically too handsome to handle."
What a liar. 'Too handsome to handle?' Can someone get me a bucket already?
I gotta puke.
"Whatever. You could've just told me that you're gay." Showing not a single of interest in this conversation, I scrooge further away from him while reading the comic that I'm holding.
"Fine... Just promise me you'll get a job soon, 'aight? I'm bored looking at your face all day like this. Lazying around and blah blah blah." He leaned closer and patted my head in a distrubting manner.
"Hmm," I nodded.
Should I get a job like literally- now?
Dad's still working as a firefighter. Kevin works too, in an industrial company. Both of them produces money. Mum's a housewife. A housewife that has a very stuffy, full bank accounts.
Working.. nah. Maybe I should finish up my comic book. Bleh.
To be honest, I personally think that reading comics are much more important than working, at the moment of course. Don't you think so?
