Hello again, dear readers! I'm KaleidoMirror.

I want to share this new chapter with all of you. To be honest, I've been feeling pressured by some work-related matters lately, but thanks to your reviews and supportive comments, I've managed to complete this chapter. I've put a lot of effort into it, and although I know there's still room for improvement in some areas, I'm content with the outcome.

I understand that this chapter turned out to be lengthy and at times, a bit tedious to read, but I wrote it with sincerity and a deep appreciation for the works and franchises of RWBY and Fate/Stay Night. I hope you enjoy this new chapter and find it entertaining.

As for my other works, I've been struggling to find inspiration and support for them. In the end, I may have to abandon them, as I don't see much interest in them, and I'm not sure if I should continue updating them. For now, I feel more satisfied and motivated with this particular work due to the increased engagement. We'll see how far I can take it.

Without further ado, I wish you a pleasant reading experience, and I hope you enjoy this new chapter. Until next time.

Chapter 5: "The Echo of Seasons"

The night was calm, and the whisper of the nighttime wind flowed into the room. The siblings were sharing a heartfelt moment on the same bed. Both wore relaxed expressions and smiles on their faces, but within their gazes, deeper and more reflective thoughts were revealed.

Shirou stopped adjusting Miyu's hair and admired his handiwork for a moment. "I believe this has been one of my best works in a long time," he smiled with satisfaction as he offered her the headband with long ribbon ears, which he had removed before beginning his task.

Miyu didn't seem to pay much attention to the conversation, as she held the golden rabbit-shaped pin in her hands. Only when Shirou embraced her tenderly did the younger of the two siblings snap out of her thoughts.

"You miss her, don't you?" she asked, admiring the melancholic look in the girl's eyes.

"It was truly amazing, but it feels unreal to think that the time I spent with her was actually so short," Miyu sighed as she took the headband from Shirou's hands. "But still, Alyx taught me so much about so many things. She helped me understand a bit, but I still have many questions about Remnant."

"I can understand that. It's the same for me, you know?" Shirou shifted his gaze for a moment, admiring the starry night outside the partially open window. He took a few seconds to enjoy the refreshing breeze before continuing. "I still find it hard to believe everything about 'our new reality.' But to be honest, it all feels like a dream I haven't woken up from yet." Shirou decided to be more direct and gently took a ruby pendant from his pocket, offering it to Miyu. "I want to know your opinion about the farewell gift that Archer left me. I can vaguely recall his words, but he mentioned that someday I would understand its meaning." He sighed for a moment before continuing, "But I'm in no hurry to figure it out."

Miyu took the pendant and examined it closely. Her first impression was the elegant shape of the ruby, a deep and brilliant red, captivated by the mysterious inner glow that seemed to shimmer with the room's light. It was set in a delicate silver necklace, making the pendant an exquisite and valuable piece.

"You're right, Shirou. It may be just my assumption, but I can sense that this gift represents something very valuable to the Servant Archer. It's an item that another version of Shirou Emiya turned into a reminder of his legend, something so personal that only you would be able to appreciate it when the right time comes," Miyu expressed as she got up and placed the pendant around her brother's neck. "Moreover, I can see that this piece holds incalculable magical value and might become something that allows Lord Don Quixote to expedite the assimilation of Archer's power in the future."
