Deep in the woods, the queen's knights were seen passing by, a group of them with only one cart filled with trade. "Remember sister, aim at the ground, not the cart." a young man, who looked to be 17 of age, said. "Quake..." the girl, who looked no older than 16, let loose her arrow and the ground exploded. "Now! Ganyu, Gorou, Jean! You're up!" Xander yelled as he along with the three people he called jumped down from the trees that they were hiding. Battle cries are then heard all around, as more and more people are seen running at the queen's knight. People with animal ears, horns, and even humans.

"Off you go!" the girl that had shot the arrow yelled as she jumped off from the tree to the cart, pushing one of the knights off. Taking her bow again, she started to shoot at the knights. Her honey eyes glowed with anger. "Hope you don't mind the rain!" Xander yelled as he jumped up and slammed his claymore at the ground, creating an illusion of rain coming down, killing the knights around him instantly.

Everyone stood still, catching their breath. "A little overboard don't you think brother?" the 16-year-old girl said, as she kneeled, looking down at her brother from the cart she was still on. "Be glad that I agree to even take you with me Kaida." was the only thing that he said, as he turned to look at her.

Making their way back inside Armaros' castle, Armaros and the old man walked up to the two siblings. "You two. I have news. Your sister, Haya. Yzara has kept her all this time." He said both Xander and Kaida looked at each other. Baffled, "She's alive..." Kaida whispered. "Where... how...?" Xander asked as he looked at Armaros for an answer. "She escaped the castle, into the Dark Silent Forest." the old man with rabbit ears said. "I'm going after her." Xander added as he turned his horse around ready to make his way out. "I'll go with you!" Kaida yelled. "We don't know if she survived." The old man tried to stop them but they did not listen. "Xander! Kaida!" Both didn't say anything but turned their heads to look at Xiao who was now seen walking up to them. Standing next to Armaros. "Armaros may allow it but I do not agree with it. You have ventured beyond the castle walls far too many times for me to even count. Disobeying my orders to the point you two take my men out without my knowledge. Don't you two know that you're all that's left, why don't you understand? We can not afford to lose any more men." Xiao said as he crossed his arm. "We are going alone!" Kaida yelled. As she turned her horse to face them. "No..." everyone turned to look at Xander. "What?"

"I'll be the one to go..." Xander added. "How will you find her? You don't know the Dark Silent Forest. And the only family that did, were hunted and killed." Armaros informed him. "Then I'll find somebody else that does. I will not abandon my sister a second time." he then left. Not even turning to look at the lot. "Wait! Xander!" Kaida yelled, but he did not stop, and out the gate, he went.

Back in the forest, Rook leads them out, Haya following close behind. 'I wonder...' she thought, looking at his back. Ducking under a branch, she then took hold of another but quickly looked at it as she felt something crawling on her. Quickly she removed her hand away and looked around her to see that she was surrounded by black snacks. Rook turned around upon hearing Haya's whimpers. Seeing her hold her tail up to her chest. As if she was trying to hide from something. Walking up to her he took hold of her face. Her eyes widened, and he could see her panic deep within those blue ocean eyes. "The forest gains its strength from your weakness." he whispered. He stood like that until she looked away, then he let go of her cheeks. Haya then looked back at him, again following him. She hurriedly went over to him and asked, "Why do you carry so much sorrow in your eyes." Stopping, Rook only looked down at her. "Ne vous souciez pas de moi, ma dame." (do not concern yourself with me, my lady.) Rook said. Haya only tilted her head to the left, not understanding what he had said. They only stand there in silence, that is until Haya walks up to him and moves his hair to see more of his face. "What are you-"
