Chapter 14- Sudden Dips and Hospital Trips

Shawn's P.O.V

I screamed in agony; the pain was unbearable. The white-hot iron branded my chest, between my collarbones and breasts. My eyes were shut as I shrieked. I heard a loud crash but kept my eyes shut.

"Oi!" I heard Niall shout. "Get the FUCK AWAY from her!" The branding iron was ripped away from my chest and I was hugged tightly as I sobbed. My hugger avoided my chest and hushed me. "Shh, Shawn, it's okay. It's gonna be alright," he cooed.

I slowly opened my eyes to see Liam holding the asshole doctor in a deathly headlock while Harry harshly whispered, what I'm assuming, explicit things to him. Danielle was earning for a First Aid Kit and Niall was holding me close. I glanced forward and saw Zayn and Perrie staring intently at me. I noticed Liam had caused Dr. Asshole to collapse so Louis and Eleanor were dragging him away.

"Niall," I half sobbed, "my chest!"

"Don't touch it; we're getting you to a hospital."

"But they'll get police," I mewled.

"I know," he reassured me.

I whimpered in pain.

"I know, love. It hurts,' he gently picked me up and told everyone to drag the 'doctor' along with us. Luckily there was a hospital across the street. Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn carried the man even though it'd be much easier to just have one of them carry him.

Perrie's P.O.V

When I saw the massive burn mark on Shawn's chest, I nearly fainted. It was red and yellow and it looked wet. I can't ever imagine how much pain she is in right now.

The way Niall looks at Shawn is mesmerizing. I've literally never seen anyone look at someone else so lovingly. He had tears in his eyes now from Shawn's agonizing pain.

We got to the hospital and Shawn was taken in for emergency surgery and the 'doctor' was taken and cuffed. Nurses told us the burns were the worst any of the doctors had ever seen. The surgeons were going to remove what was left of her skin and attempt skin replacement surgery. (A/N: this actually exists)

Nurses took a sobbing Shawn from Niall and he broke down. It took all four guys to hold him back before he gave up, collapsing to the ground, convulsive crying over-taking him. I went over to soothe him.

"Shh, Niall. She'll be okay. The doctors are helping her." He just sobbed for several minutes until some police officers came over to question us.

Zayn's P.O.V

Three police officers came to take statements from us. The girls, Perrie, Danielle and Eleanor, went first; followed by Louis, Liam and Harry; Niall and I last. Two officers went with Niall and Liam tagged along to help calm our younger band mate.

Before I went to give my statement, I asked Perrie and the girls if they had said anything about Shawn and Niall's "power." They told them "they were after Shawn so we ran." It wasn't a lie but it wasn't the whole truth.

I told the officer, a very nice and understanding man, about how Perrie and I were rudely awakened and how we just went with the team when it came to running. Shawn was being chased and Niall wanted her safe.

Niall's P.O.V

Liam consoled me while I gave my statement. The abusive 'doctor' or whatever had been arrested on two accounts of kidnapping, for both Shawn and myself, and three counts of abuse.

We're still waiting for any news of Shawn's surgery; it had been four hours. Needless-to-say, I was FTFO- Freaking The Fuck Out. I want- no NEED- Shawn to be okay. I love her. How would I live without her? I mean, I did for nineteen years but now I've met her; my one and only, my soul mate, my love.

Harry's P.O.V

After six brutal hours, the nurses told us we could visit her. Before went in, the surgeon told us her heart actually stopped during the operation but we shouldn’t worry because she is fine now. Then, we were all let into her private room.
