It's Sasha again. He has bruises all over his face. He looks like he got into a fist fight in a dark alleyway and nearly hit by a car afterwards. What the fuck happened to him? He looks nervous. Almost scared around Roy and Karline but is trying to hide it as much as possible.

"Guys, have you seen Sasha over there?" I whispered while giving Ray a slight bump with my elbow.

"Gee, boy looks terrible." Ray whispered back.

"Oh, who gives a shit?" Dave said, annoyed.

Jack kicked his leg with his hands in his pockets.

"Ow! What was that for? Don't tell me you guys feel bad for him. Have you already forgotten-" Dave was interrupted.

"Of course I fucking haven't tinhead! But look at him!" I whispered louder.

They gave another glance at him before Ray and Dave gave me a judgy look.

"Hey, d-don't look at me like that!" I panicked.

They looked mad. Oh God, what have I done?

"She's right." Jack suddenly jumped in.

We all turned to him

"Wh- Not you too, dude." Dave looked at Jack with disappointment.

"I'm not saying that I feel bad for him, but Tricia is right. This IS something to be concerned about. He was never like this before his betrayal." Jack explained quietly.

"What are you implying?" Dave asked.

"There's clearly something serious going on that we don't know but could affect us." He simply answered.

"Exactly, don't any of you think that this is strange? I mean, ever since he started hanging with those two, he started acting odd." I whispered.

"Now that ya mentioned, he does act different..." Ray said.

"But it never got this bad. We should keep an eye on him." Jack said.

We all turned to Dave.

"Ugh, fine. I'll look out for him too." He said, annoyed.

We all agreed on that. However, we have to keep in mind the main plan. Which was my mother. Problem is, we're not sure where to begin. I mean, yes, we know what we're going for and we've been training for a good bit now, but there still isn't a proper plan yet. We only know that if we become heroes, then that would be a good start, but that's basically it. Maybe time will tell. My mom always told me not to worry too much about the future.

That everything will be fine..

"Cmon Trish, we gotta get to class!" Ray said, pulling me by my hand.

As the day passed, I kept an eye on Sasha. When Roy and Karline were talking to each other and acknowledged Sasha every now and then, he always gave them that smile a wife gives to his wifebeater husband. He kept looking towards the ground whenever he could. He looks fucking miserable. Did they hurt him? It couldn't have been his mom. His mom might say some hurtful things to him sometimes, but she would never hit him. This is all so strange.

When the end of the school day came, Dave reminded me that Laura's birthday is gonna be soon. In 5 days specifically. That's a Sunday. We STILL don't even know where we'll be doing the party! I think I've got a good idea for a location if everything works out.

I went home and changed into my typical clothes. Scarlet surprised me today with spaghetti. She said that I should eat something warm after school. How sweet of her. While we were eating in the kitchen, she told me that she was very fond of Darkness. As a cat, of course. She's not aware of the fact that he's a literal demon, which is good.

"Oh, I think he likes me too! When I took a small break today on the couch, he came to sit on my lap and purred! How cute is that?" She charmed happily while twirling the long noodles on her fork obove the plate.

"Aw, that's lovely! But I have a question." I said after I finished chewing.

"What's that?" She innocently asked.

"How come no one's allowed in the attic?" I asked.

She froze. She took a moment to respond.

"W-Well, why would you want to go up there? You know your grandmother is strict and wouldn't be very happy about that." She nervously chuckled slightly.
