"SAY it again," Zandro said while holding Ara's hand.
"Say what?" Ara said as she frowned and raised an eyebrow at him.
"What you said to Dasha- say it again, but in front of me. Tell me you love me."
Ara slowly lowered her gaze and slowly withdrew her hands. "You already heard it, why do I have to repeat it?"
"I want to hear it again, I want to hear it as I watch the movement of your lips so I can be sure that what I heard is correct.-" Zandro said, then touched Ara's chin so that she looked straight at him.
"I- c-can't" Ara stuttered and then backed away slightly.
Zandro lost his smile and was disappointed to hear it from Ara "W-hy?-" he said almost in a whisper.
"Why can't you say it again? Is it that hard to love me? Or even like?" Zandro mumbled, then grabbed his nape.
He thought his courtship had been a success but that was not what was happening. "What else do I need to do ?, do I still need to kneel and beg?" When Zandro said that, he suddenly knelt in front of Ara.
"I'm so s-sorry-" Ara's voice trembled, then she ran out of the room because she couldn't stand it anymore.
Zandro was left stunned and on his knees. He couldn't understand her anymore, he was sure of what he had heard. Ara said she loved him, but why did Ara have to do that to him?.
While Ara was in the hallway and leaning against the wall, holding back her tears. She didn't want to hurt him, but they really couldn't be together.
How could they be together when her sin was so unforgivable? She also could not give up her mission for love. She had sacrificed so much, she could not ignore the lives lost just because she felt only temporary love.
They would only be more vulnerable, so she would have to let go and distance herself. "I shouldn't have said that thing" she mumbled. "I only made things worse."
THEY were inside the lobby conducting a meeting for their mission. That was also one of the reasons why they went to Palawan.
Ara is just secretive and completely avoids looking at Zandro every time he stares at her. She couldn't look directly at him because of what had happened that morning. She feels guilty for what she did, and that won't go away until she clears everything up.
Ara focused her gaze on a floor plan laid on the table of the third Archon. It was quite familiar to her, so she wondered where she had seen it.
"This is the floor plan of the opponent's headquarters. I have already sent Akritai (Elite Army) just in case the leader does not go to the warehouse, while other soldiers will join us in the warehouse," Dasha said, and continued to explain the plan.
"But as far as I know, the transaction is still going on according to the report provided by Bienca," Zandro replied.
"We need to catch two leaders if they have a new drug product and it is one of the most expensive drugs they are currently producing. Similar to its expensive price, it has a bad effect on the human body. These drugs are not for them, but for their opponents who want to end up in a dirty way more severe than killing them with guns. This drug is capable of killing a person slowly. So we need to stop them and dispose of the drugs."
"This is perhaps one of the biggest missions because it involves Agercia soldiers," She thought and felt apprehension.
"Is he that powerful for Archons to join forces?" Ara suddenly asked out of curiosity.
"Based on article one of Agercia, only Archons and Bienca can oppose a syndicate founder. That is stated in the law of Agercia. So is the law of the Triad. Only the founders of the Triad can oppose the Archons and Biencas." Dasha answered Ara's question.
Gradually Ara figured it all out, the floor plan on the table is the headquarters and Laboratory of the Tyrantes. "Papa Regan," she thought, then slowly looked at the two Archons. She is starting to get agitated- they are all in danger.
"I-if so, W-here is Biencas and second Archon," Ara asked to stutter and tried to calm herself down, she didn't want them to notice that she was starting to get restless.
"This mission is only for the Archons. Because it is an outer business held by the Archons, this mission is probably not covered by the Biencas because their job is for the inner businesses of Agercia only. And if you're looking for a second Archon, so are we. The second Archon left his position ten years ago and passed away three years ago. So definitely, that position is vacant because the heiress to the throne is missing and, suspected that she has also died along with her parents," Dasha said, then picked up the floor plans on the table.
"If the Chief Anax is already making a move, we should start the dash before he can escape again" Dasha added.
Zandro nodded as did the other members that were present at the meeting.
"We have to go" Zandro uttered, so those present immediately took up arms and guns for their mission.
While Ara was staring at Zandro and could not understand her emotion. Mixed thoughts entered her mind, she clenched her fist tightly as it trembled. "If it's been ten years since the second Archon left his position. Does it mean you're the person I've been looking for?!- You killed my parents!" she thought as her breathing deepened and her body trembled with sadness mixed with anger.
"Sa lahat ng tao sa mundo, bakit ikaw!. Bakit ikaw pa!- the man whom I trusted and loved because I thought you could not afford to commit that heinous crime!" she thought and slowly took a dagger and gun to the table where the weapons lay.
