ARA was startled when she saw herself in the mirror. "What have you done to me, Salem? "

"What?" Salem said innocently to Ara. "I told you you were beautiful."

She was stunned by her reflection. That was the first time she looked like a decent woman. She was wearing a unique sheath shoulder long sleeve black, a long fitted black evening gown with a slit. Salem curled her short hair and put thin makeup on her face to make her look perfect.

"This black evening dress is perfect to cover the scars that should not be seen." Sambit ni Salem pagkatapos ay pinanggigilan ang kanyang mukha "You look like a goddess- Let them bow to you," Salem said, then put the thin necklace on her neck.

Ara looked at her reflection from head to toe."Is this what I look like? If my parents hadn't died?" she murmured.

She woke up to her senses when Salem answered "No matter what happens, it's still you... Just chin up, And believe that you are beautiful- but not better than me." Salem said arrogantly. They pouted her lips.

"All right, I'll agree, just tonight," She said, then Salem glared at her.

"Thanks ha! That means a lot to me". Salem becomes sarcastic, then childishly hands her the black handbag wallet.

She leaned on Salem's shoulder after smiling sweetly "Sorry na."

Salem shrugged then laughed weakly "Pasalamat ka at malakas ka sa akin... Tara na nga!."

"Just a moment" She stopped and took her dagger and gun from her drawer, then placed them in the gun holster on her thigh.

"Dang!! That was hot" komento ni Salem pagkatapos ay nagpaypay gamit ang kaniyang kamay at umakto na naiinitan.

ZANDRO sat in the living room with Zyl and his butler, Than while waiting for Ara and Salem. "Why are they taking so long," Zyl complained, then stood up and was about to leave the mansion when Salem and Ara suddenly came down the stairs.

"Dang!, Am I mimicking?" Than murmured while staring at Ara.

Zandro gulped while she couldn't take his eyes off Ara. He was stunned and his tongue seemed to recede in fascination.

"Close your mouth mother f*cker!, your saliva might drip", Zyl teased, but Zandro ignored him.

When Ara and Salem arrived in the living room, the first Archon still did not speak.

Salem raised an eyebrow and grinned at the first Archon's reaction."Don't be deceived, she still has a gun with her." Salem said to remind them. She winced when they didn't even pay attention to her and remained stunned by Ara "Hello?, I'm still here?!."

"You look so-" hindi naituloy ni Zandro ang kaniyang sasabihin ng biglang sumabat si Ara "Different?" she uttered.

"God-d*mned gorgeous" he murmured, then cleared his throat to wake up in his fascination.

"I think the boat is floating," Than said while watching the first Archon and his Sandra.

"Yes, it is already happening" Zyl added.

"Does that mean you accept your defeat?" Salem replied with a beautiful smile on her lips.

"1 million dollars is waving to us", Than murmured.

Zandro and Ara looked at their friends. "D*mn, I didn't know you were an idiot too, Zyl" Zandro said.

"Hindi ko rin alam na malandi ka pala, you f*cking assh*le." Zyl cussed and glared at the first Archon.

"Dang!" Salem and Than said at the same time and hugged each other "1 million dollars, d*mn!, I'm rich now" Salem said excitedly.

Zyl glared at Than, then grabbed Salem's arm to loosen her embrace with the butler. Than frowned as Ara shook her head.

"Baka kayo pa ang magkatuluyan nyan" Zandro commented to annoy them.

"I'm so single," Than said and frowned, then approached Ara and held her arm. "Am I not pitiful, my gorgeous scary b*tch best friend?."

"Let go of her, I might cut off your left hand", Zandro warned his butler. Than gulped and was scared of the threat of the first Archon, so he immediately let go of Ara's right arm.

Ara just shook her head and tried to hide the redness on her cheek. "Let's go?" Zandro said, then held out his palm.

She accepted it and left the mansion with her friends. They all wore black tuxedos while Ara and Salem were in long black dresses to grab the attention of the event attendees. Black means death and they want to scare them so no one attempts to commit a crime that night.

They arrive in a black limousine at the venue. Before they got out of the car, the first Archon gave them a single box containing a mask.

"Did I mention it was a masquerade ball?" ani Zandro.

"No" they all answered.

"It doesn't matter, it's just props. The important thing is that they know that I am here. So let's go and-"

"Let's party baybe!!" Salem shouted.

Ara just rolled her eyes afterward. The first Archon, as well as Than and Zyl got out of the limousines.

Lights flashed from the cameras of the reporters and journalists who were there. They were expecting that because big people attended the event.

"Mr. Zyl Megan?!, you're in the same car with the congressman, are you friends? Who is your other handsome companion ?" They asked while holding a microphone.

Zyl looked flatly. "They are not my friends, they just went with me in my car" he answered.

Than looked badly at Zyl and then snatched the microphone. "Y-yeah we are friends and we are very close to each other."

"Mr. Congressman?! We were surprised by your attendance. Could we receive even a short message from your supporters?" Said a reporter on the edge of the red carpet.

Zandro just smiled slightly. "I am grateful to my supporters. I hope you will accompany me to the end of my service."

Suddenly, the two doors of the limousine opened and Ara and Salem came out. Reporters' attention was turned to the beautiful women who accompanied the congressman in the same limousine.

Ara and Salem are already wearing masks to hide their faces. Zyl immediately grabbed Salem's arm, and then Zandro did the same to Ara.

While Than looks miserable "F*ck! I hate this!."

Ara could not speak because she was not used to many people around her. "Relax, They won't eat you," Zandro murmured.

"They are all looking at you" ani Ara.

"No, they are looking at you. And wondering who is the beautiful woman next to me", Zandro said, then smiled at her.

Ara couldn't smile and just clung her hands tightly to Zandro.

"Mr. Congressman? Mr. Megan?!. Who are these beautiful ladies?" A reporter asked them.

"She is my date for tonight" Zyl replied afterward and smiled at Than, who frowned. "Find your own date", Zyl murmured.

Than frowned even more, then walked into the venue. They laughed at the butler's attitude, so Salem and Zyl followed him.

"Mr. Congressman?-"

"She's my girlfriend, so please excuse us" Zandro replied, then pulled Ara into the MC building. They left the people outside in a commotion while Ara's cheeks turned red. "W-hy did you say that?" Ara stammered.

"I'm planning to court you- what was the difference then?" Zandro replied.

"W-what?" Ara asked, stunned.

"I wanted you to be my girl, Baby" Zandro whispered seductively in Ara's ear.
