Mc Drive worker was very kind,
We ordered what we were used to.
We set off, as we do every evening, into the unknown....
Bottle of wine on the back seat, chips strewn about. The smell of your perfume, the wind in your hair, the sliding sunroof.
That's how I remember that hot summer.
The endless drive. We were like Fast and Furious.
Running away from all the treaders, as we knew.
Chased by the morning sun.
To the tune of our playlists, we screamed, laughed and cried.
We were ourselves,
We left the masks in the boot.
At midnight we always watch the stars in the sky.
In the headlights of the car,
You shone like one of them. The smell of your perfume, the wind in your hair, the sliding sunroof.
That's how I remember that hot summer.
The endless drive. We drank to the hell that life gives us at every turn.
For the broken hearts,
For the tears shed.
Here's to us,
Eternal friendship.
May this summer never end with you! It's 3 am.
It's time to confidences time.
I hope that our soulmates, chained together, never break free.
And though I know it hurts us, only now it feels alive!
Let's get a tattoo!
Something deathless like us.
