Chapter 13: Training begins

POV IZUKU

Mom, Dad can we go already?

Animals only get fed twice a day and I know you're eating lunch at school you cheating brat.

y-y-yes K-K-Kacchan?

I woke up covered in sweat panting, just trying to get a grasp on what was going on. It takes me a second to realize those are my memories from before. I try not to panic the thought of them brings a sharp pain to my head like someone's holding a needle to my brain. Choosing to ignore them I get started with my day, and head to school.

I stare at the massive archway dreading making it to class, I know Uncle Hobo is nice enough not to bring up yesterday but what about the rest of the class? What about Kac-Katsuki? I decided to do the same thing I have been for all my problems lately. Push them down bottle it up and ignore it. Walking into class I am met with a few stars and some friendly hellos, Kirby asked if I was okay. It was very sweet of her. That was when I made eye contact with him before he could even get a word I shifted into my cat form ignoring him and heading straight to my desk, patiently waiting for class to begin.

???: I AM ENTERING LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!

It was All Might, I mean I knew he was going to be a teacher here but I didn't expect to see him so soon.

All Might: Good morning class today will be your first lesson in heroics now grab your case and get changed.

Usagi tucked herself as far into the corner of the locker room as possible same as last time still feeling that she didn't have the right to be in there. After all who would consider a freak like her a real girl? She was the first out changing as fast as she could trying her best to ignore the thoughts going on in her head. Her hero outfit was honestly really simple, she liked the idea of her favorite hobo and how comfy he always looked so she wanted to copy that. However, her mom had a few ideas of her own and now she is in a black one-piece that she picked with some dark green lines that highlight the seems to show off her new figure. Usagi didn't hate her costume but she wasn't sure if caving and letting her mom make it skin-tight was a good idea. On one hand, she was less likely to get caught on something when she was moving or fighting but on the other, she wasn't sure how she still felt about her body and this doesn't leave much to the imagination. Once everyone was down cheering and complimenting each other's outfits All Might spoke up.

All Might: Today we will be doing some practical work, heroes versus villains. Villains will have to defend the bomb until the timer is up, while heroes will have to catch the villains or touch the bomb for victory

Ida: Sir how will we be picking teams?

All Might: Be lottery of course.

That was how the teams were made, Usagi Kayama & Ochaco Uraraka (Team A) vs. Katsuki Bakugo & Tenya Ida (Team D), Shoto Todoroki & Mezo Shoji (Team B) vs. Mashirao Ojiro & Toru Hagakure (Team I), Fumikage Tokoyami & Tsuyu Asui (Team H) vs. Eijiro Kirishima & Hanta Sero (Team J), Denki Kaminari & Kyoka Jiro (Team G) vs. Momo Yaoyorozu & Minoru Mineta (Team C), Yuga Aoyama & Mina Ashido (Team E) vs. Rikido Sato & Koji Koda (Team F). Luckily for her, the order was also random, so she was going to go last, it would also give her enough time to mentally prepare to go against him. Most of the fights were pretty mundane with nothing too exciting happening.

Todoroki fight surprised the whole class though, he just froze the entire building instantly ending the round before the other team could react. The last wasn't the fight that caught her off guard it was the person, Mineta was just creepy the way she looked at her and her classmates made her skin crawl she felt so disgusted. Honestly, she felt worse for Yaoyorzu who was on his team. Finally, it was her turn to fight.

Kirby: Kayama how do you want to approach this?

Me: First just call me Usagi, hearing Kayama still feels weird. Second, I have a strong feeling that Katsuki is going to want to fight me. I should be able to distract him long enough for you to get past and fight the robot, Ida.

Kirby: OK Usagi, got it you can call me Ochaco. I honestly am not sure if I can beat him, he to fast for me to get past.

Me: That's simple he is fast on his feet if you touch him, he will be stuck in the air useless. Hey, you can make multiple things lighter right not just one at a time?

Kirby: Yeah why?

Me: I got an idea let's see if we can find anything for you to throw at them. Let's do this Kirby!

With a smile on her face, she helped Ochaco gather some rocks as they walked towards the building ready to give it their all.

The chapter was a bit longer and it still took less time to write, I was feeling motivated what can I say? Going back and editing is the worst and takes up way too much time. My grammar blows and I apologize for that but who knows maybe one day it will be better. Honestly just be happy it's typed instead of written my handwriting is terrible, I had some professors who would make me type my work, or else I failed that assignment. This is probably going to be my last chapter for the day, I think not sure I might be bored and make? Write? Type? I dont't which is the correct term but might do more later today but nothing will probably be posted again today. I hope everyone is having a good start to the new year. Also, I made the hot chocolate croissants in the photo they are yummy!
