She was afraid to open that email..though she knew her fate, she didn't want to see it, rejection, rejection a towering mountain that could crush her into millions of pieces until she was nothing but dust.
her sister Sage was trying to hype her up to open it, "Oh c'mon it isn't a big deal, you practically have nothing to lose it just a few paragraphs that only say yes or no you can come next year " "You know father and mother would be very disappointed, they will force me into marriage or sell me-"she was interrupted "of course not, stop overthinking it, I know they can be errr- kinda harsh and sometimes say things when they are angry but that doesn't mean they will do it to you", "I don't know Sage..." "just do it ima do it for you". Sage snatches the laptop out of her hands and runs off, only for Scarlett to chase after her, she should have known from how inconveniently frequently things get snatched from her.
"OH, MY GOD!" "WHAT IS IT?! I DIDN'T GET IN DIDN'T I?" Sage showed her the screen on the laptop she got...ACCEPTED."ACCEPTED?! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT SAGE!, BUT HOW?" "BECAUSE YOU'RE SO GREAT THOUGH YOU CAN BE A REAL PAIN IN THE BACK". Scarlett didn't care about such remarks, SHE got ACCEPTED, SCARLETT CELESTIA-MILLER GOT IN, THE ODDS OF THAT HAPPENING WAS CERTAINLY LESS THAN 0.
Scarlett was jumping up and down, with tears of pure joy rolling down her face, she hadn't felt such happiness and excitement in such a long time..now she had to pass the fitness/ability test, how was she meant to do that?
