"Where did the Party go?"
--
LUKE;
Luke and Ashton entered the music room. They find no bodies in the room. As they expected, the music teacher was late.
They sauntered into the room, and as Luke fiddles with guitar strings for what seems like forever, he hears foot steps.
"Hey guys!" Calum cheerfully greets. The bell rings and lunch break is over. Soon enough the room will be full of students. "The cheerleaders were having a full on cat fight. Tiffany Woods' extensions got ripped out and Serena Walbridge's nose job got ruined. I love High School." Calum explained.
Ivy and Michael strut into the room awkwardly, shortly after Calum. Ivy's hair is unusually messy and Michael's lips are a soft pink tint.
Luke quickly puzzles things together. Calum laughs simultaneously. "Why're you touching that?" Michael asks Luke.
"Because we're volunteers and we're fucking allowed." Luke snaps. Michael shrugs it off and takes a seat, so does Ivy.
Students come rushing in, taking various seats all over the room. Luke puts down the guitar and takes a seat. Michael sits in the 3rd row of seats, Calum to his left and Ivy to his right, Luke is seated behind Michael, next to Ashton.
Minutes have passed and Mr Maurer still has not arrived. "Hey let's go play with the instruments!" Ashton yells to no one in particular.
"If we ruin those we'll have to pay a lot for them. Sit down, dumb ass." Michael replies.
Deja Vu washes over Luke. He watches as Michael and Ivy continue to chat and giggle, and he couldn't lie to himself anymore.
Luke angrily watched on. Hell, he didn't even know this girl but she's made him feel like this. It was the first day.
He thought he was an exclusive friend to Ivy. He thought he was the first one to call him self her friend, but it seems as if that didn't matter.
He let it go. He didn't care.
Mr Maurer finally steps in. His steps are lazy and sloppy.
He writes his name of the board, as if no one knew his name already. Luke had nothing on his mind but the fact that there was only 1 period left of the day. Luke pondered in thought as he looked around. Luke was progressively getting more drudged with Music class. The iridescent light shone down on the faces creating shadows, hollowing them. Luke, though being surrounded by many, he only looked at one.
The tired Teacher greets his students and asks Luke if he's new, in which Luke agrees.
"Today, we're--I'm, going to place you into groups, based on musical talent. Almost like a little band, but except it'll only function in this class. No name needed, and this band will last for around 3 weeks. For those of you that posses absolutely no musical talent, will be given other material."
Mr Maurer questions for any musical talents in his class. Almost instantly, hands dart up in the air, excite strangles the air in the room and all the students begin to chat.
Mr Maurer takes a hold of his class. He points to students with their hands waving in the air, questioning their talents.
To Luke's surprise, Ashton, Calum, Michael, Ivy, and even Tiffany Woods, all put their hands up. Mr Maurer, with quite a smirk on his face asks Tiffany for her talent, which she says is 'rhythm guitar.'
Mr Maurer asks for drummers, and 3 hands shoot up. Ashton Irwin, Gary Stetson, and Livy Mason all put their hands up. Luke, of course, didn't know their names, except for Ashton. Mr Maurer asked each of them to play, to Luke's surprise, Ashton had done very well.
