The 'pickup point' isn't too far from the church, if they kept up the pace they'd be able to make it there in just under twenty minutes. But the weather seems to be doing everything in its power to prevent that, it's beginning to rain. Hard. Wind going fast enough to make them stumble appears in random gusts. Like a punch from the wind itself.

"Why'd my dad send you two specifically?" Ashley asks the two strangers, walking in front of them like they're bodyguards—which isn't technically wrong.
"Your guess is as good as mine," Henry says, he has a rough idea of why they were chosen but nothing that's really solid. They keep acting like killing that tyrant was some great feat, but it just took a shot from an RPG and it was dead. Maybe it was for the fact that they managed to outmaneuver it or something.

Leon's paying closer attention to their surroundings than either Henry or Ashley, Henry's more concerned about Ashley than any other issues.
"Can you tell me your names or something?" Ashley questions, the rain beginning to blow sideways from the soft breeze.
"I'm Henry, this is Leon." Leon looks over and waves at the girl in a friendly manner, Ashley immediately starts to blush. Henry notices.

Ashley grins kind of deviously before asking, "Is he single?" Probably the most forward person Henry's ever heard now that he thinks about it. He kind of respects how blatant she is.
"I'm flattered but no I am not," Leon says with a nervous smile, even if he was, she'd be a bit too young. That's about double his and Henry's age difference. Seems a bit odd, and he's too much of a professional to hit on the president's daughter.
"Lucky girl, what's her name?"
"Henry," Henry interjects,
"Oh. Sorry for uhm... hitting on him right in front of you."  Ashley scratches the back of her neck, her hands kind of curled up with embarrassment.

"It's alright. I'm not the jealous type." Henry insists with a smile. Someone hitting on Leon doesn't bother him, he knows nothing will come of it. Leon's too loyal to cheat on him.
"Where'd you guys meet?" She asks,
"Uh... I guess we met each other during the outbreak in Raccoon City."
"Wait were you two the guys who killed that tyrant?"
"Yeah," Leon says,
"I was there when you met with my dad, you guys look so different now."

They feel different too, and that still haunts their every move. Not to mention the absolute hell they've been through to find Ashley. It's no wonder they "look different". But she appears completely fine. Nobody's harmed her, visibly at least.
"Probably because we aren't wearing suits, and we're covered in dirt and blood," Leon smirks as they all three step over a fallen log.
"I've never really talked with a gay couple before," Ashley says, it almost sounds like she didn't mean to say it. The way "before" kind of cuts off at the end and she goes quiet is a big giveaway she wasn't happy she spoke.
"Really?" Leon asks, never did he think he and Henry would be referred to as a "gay couple". But, that's what they are... But to be called to his face gay is a new thing entirely, he's never called himself that. Or been called that.

"I mean you've probably heard what my dad thinks of gay people."
"Abominations to God?" Henry chimes in,  he and Leon did not vote for Graham.
"He's an asshole. But I don't really care who people are into as long as they're happy." Ashley's strange conversation is somewhat interesting, it's almost like she's trying to convince them she's okay with them being gay. That she's not like her dad. Little does she know they don't care either way if she doesn't like gays. Fine. They're here to save her that's all.
"You didn't save them," Ashley says, Henry looks over to her with a confused expression when he falls over, he screams. He screams all the way into darkness as he falls into a dark void. There's nothing besides blackness. He finds himself in a long dark hallway, there's a door at the end.

Henry carefully approached the wooden door, he places a quiet hand on the knob. And with a deep breath, he opens it. There he found Leon on the floor covered in blood, a man with a blurry face standing over him.
"Leon!?" He shouts before he's suddenly woken up.
"Henry! Henry?! Henry baby what's going on?" Leon asks, his boyfriend waking from his passed-out position with a guttural scream. He screams again, looking around in a panic as Leon holds his face, "Henry you're okay." He says, Henry comes down. His breathing mellows out as he leans back against the rock he woke up pressed against.
"What happened?" Leon asks,
"I don't know. I-It was like a vision. It wasn't a dream it felt real..." Leon wants more information, but they can't pause for this. So he helps Henry up, and they press on—much to Henry's dismay.
"You're okay." Leon keeps repeating to him.

"Do you guys want kids?" Ashley asks yet another hard-hitting question, but Henry is still so out of it that he barely registers that she's speaking at all.
"We can't have kids." Leon immediately says with a frown, gays can't get married. And they certainly can't adopt a kid.
"Oh. Yeah, well if you could would you?" They approach a bridge, a wooden one held up by flimsy-looking pillars. It looks stable enough, so they walk steadily onto it.
"I'm not ready to be a dad."
"How about you, Henry?" Leon asks,
"I'm not sure I'm read—" Henry starts when they're just about across the bridge, and the end snaps.
"Fuck! Run—!" Leon shouts, Ashley runs over to the other side within seconds, Leon in the middle and Henry behind them both.

Ashley and Leon both make it to the other side, but Henry finds himself falling. Before he can even panic, Leon catches him.
"I got you—" Leon groans, pulling Henry up when a stranger appears behind him and helps him lift his boyfriend back to solid ground. Leon catches his breath when he looks toward the stranger and finds himself staring at Luis.
"You!" Leon growls, walking towards the former Umbrella employee with a pissed-off look on his face.
"Hey... listen about last time—" Luis backs up with worry as Leon pushes him up against a tree. His fist holding Luis in place.
"Yeah, about that—" Henry checks on Ashley when Luis shouts in an attempt to change the subject,
"Oh! I see you found your missing señorita?"

Ashley sighs,
"Señorita has a name and it's Ashley."
"Who the fuck are you?" Henry asks, standing beside Leon with his knife visibly out.
"Oh, mi amour. Do you like to watch? I'm sure we can put on quite the show eh, Sancho?" Luis flirts, shaking his hips a bit, Henry doesn't appreciate it. Although Luis is admittedly handsome, flirting is not helpful for anything practical.
"Quit it! Why are you here?" The brunette insists,
"Great question, however—"

Luis looks over to a crowd of villagers, pitchforks, fire, knives, axes, and hatchets. And they were coming straight for them,
"Shit! In that house!" Luis shouts, pushing Leon away and rushing into a nearby house along with the others. Henry shoves a nearby bookcase in front of the door to barricade it,
"Goddamnit!"
