The Hybrid(Seth Clearwater)(On Hold)

Chapter 4

Mykaelah's P.O.V

As Seth and I walk down stairs hand in hand, I can't help but think, is this conversation going to end in tears of happiness or grief?

We took our time descending the stairs, but eventually made it to the kitchen. I see Carlisle standing with 6 other vampires, and some of the people that were on the beach that day. Seth and I stood across from Carlisle and his mate Esme. Carlisle begins to speak. "Mykaelah I want to introduce you to my family, this is..." I cut him off as I look at a beautiful blonde that's looking at me with skepticism "Rosalie." Standing next to her with his arm around her waist is a man with short black hair and bulging muscles "Emmet, extra strength." the next couple is a petite girl with a pixie hair cut and a man with hazel hair and a quiet demeanor "Alice, can see the future, and Jasper, can control emotions." Next was a vampire couple standing with a child and a wolf. "Edward, can read minds, Bella, force field, Renesme, hybrid child, can project images to others through touch, and Jake, alpha wolf, imprint is Renesme." Finally the last two people that were in the room a male and female wolf. "Sam, alpha wolf, and Leah, Seth's older sister, a wolf as well." As I finish everybody stares at me in shock. Carl (remember it's her nickname for Carlisle) looked at me in astonishment and asks "is that your power?"

"One of the many." I reply, very straight forward may I add. Again, they continue to stare at me in astonishment. "What do you mean one of many? How many do you have?" Carl asks again. "Well not only do I have the ones that came naturally with what I am but every time I come in contact with someone who has a power I gain it as well. You should know that I have come in contact with every person in the Volturi that has a power. Even Aro." "What?! How did you come in contact with them?" This time it's Bella who asks the question. "About 130 years ago they had captured me and took me back to volterra. Jane and Alec grabbed me leading me to Aro, Marcus, and Caius. Unknowingly giving me their powers. Then Aro touched me trying to see my past, once again unknowingly giving me his power. They threw me in a room, thinking I wouldn't be able to escape, but it was actually quite easy. Anyways I have met with all the vampires that helped in the war for Renesme's safety, therefore gaining their powers as well. Now I may gain all of yours since we will be in such close courters." They continue to stare at me, it's actually getting kind of annoying now. "What are you?" Leah asks as she stares at me with shock and a little bit of fear. "Leah!" Seth tried to scold her but I just simply put my hand in his shoulder in a calming matter and say "it's fine Seth, to answer your question Leah.. I am the ultimate hybrid." "You mean more than Nessie?" Asks Jake. "Nessie is just human and vampire. I am much much more than that." "But I thought your mother was human, and your father had changed her during child birth." Carl states. "Oh no, she was far from human uncle Carl. She was a hybrid herself, as well as my father but you probably didn't know that. He was afraid that if he told anyone, even you, that Aro could get it out of you with his power after my father had fled. He did it for our protection, and yours." "Then what were your parents?" Seth asks beside me. "My father was a vampire and werewolf hybrid, my mother, a mermaid and angel. I am a hybrid of all four. That is why the Volturi want me so bad, but all they know of is of my werewolf and vampire side. They believe that my mother was a werewolf. They don't know about my powers either, they think I have some, but they just don't know what they are."

"So what exactly are your other powers?" Jasper asks, surprising me with his voice. "I can control the elements, I have wings and a tail. I have a wolf bigger than an alpha. Sorry Jake and Sam." I laugh but continue "and change my appearance and voice on command." There was a pause and slight fear ran through everyone's eyes.. except for one pair that glistened with excitement. Can you guess who's it was?

Emmet!!!!! Of course he would be excited about that. I could tell that were going to get along just fine. I think just as he shouts "that's freaking awesome!!!" Successfully snapping everyone out of the trance they appeared to be in.

"Mykaelah, this is... this is something else. Something I have never heard of or encountered before. It's- it's incredible!" Carl says to me, in pretty sure he just voiced everyone's thoughts, and it's confirmed when I see all of them nod their heads slowly, still in shock. "What does this mean exactly?" Sam asks finally jumping into the conversation.

"It means that the Volturi will stop at nothing to capture me, and there is one thing that they are most afraid of happening." "What is that?" Esme asks speaking up next to my uncle.

"....." I pause for a moment, looking into all of their eyes, saving Seth's for last and holding his stare as I speak once again. "My pregnancy."
Seth instantly looks nervous, not because of the fact that he now knows that we will end up conceiving a child in the future, but for the safety of me and his not yet conceived baby.

"Is it even possible for you to reproduce?" Carl asks. "Very, because my mermaid and angel species is practically extinct, they need to reproduce, making me highly conceivable. I mean not to embarrass anyone, especially Seth but, it's going to happen eventually. And when it's does. A war will break out as soon as the Volturi catch the word that I'm alive, well, and pregnant."

"What happens if you're pregnant while you fight and you lose the baby?" Seth asks, with a painful look in his eyes. "Don't worry about that. Because of all of my creatures inside me. It is impossible for me to miscarriage, my womb is simply to indestructible to be harmed. The baby will be safe before and after it is born." "How do you know that?" Rose asks "it could die after birth of the Volturi gets their hands on it." She looked worried and scared while speaking of the baby's death, informing me that she cares deeply for children. "don't worry Rose. Like I said not only is my womb indestructible but my baby will be as well, they will have double the power I do. If I have more then one, they will all be the same. Powerful and strong. Never to be hurt. Even if they were in danger. I have a feeling that they will have plenty of people to protect them." I smiled to ease everyone's nerves, especially Seth's. "Anyways I think that's enough shocking news for today. Don't want to overwhelm everyone too much. I am going to go up to my room and rest. I'm exhausted. I'll see you all tomorrow morning, goodnight everyone." I smile and get a smiley goodnight back from everyone as Seth and I head back upstairs and into the room I woke up in. We both lay down in bed and cuddle while getting to know each other better by playing 20 questions, until I slowly dose off into the best sleep I've had in over 200 years.
